My dream of having Pippa do live commentary for HoloFightZ is dead. Maybe we can get Yuni to do it. I need to see her cheer on the WataMage.

Thank you to whoever posted the HoloFightZ stream Sunday, that is the most fun I've had watching a stream in a while.

HoloFightZ is really fun, glad to see it continue. The dude behind it got I think either busy or depressed for a while.

Depends. Pippa's main audience is the chans and the farms, and they also just so happen to be the same kind of people that know about roommates and their dirt.

If Pippa was just another generic Vtuber and she made those remarks, it would just be brushed off as an out of line joke.

Now because this IS Pippa, it seems more like a "nudge nudge wink wink" reference for the Chans and the Farms. And consider that there are also a lot of Hololive fans within those circles, someone will get the reference, someone will like Kiara and someone will be mad enough to call Pippa out on it.

Don't really want to reiterate the whole story, and its been awhile so I'm fuzzy on the details, so maybe someone else can fill in details, but she had been mislead about the whole thing by her agent, and wasn't told about the full contact aspect, and by the time she realized, it was too late to back out because she was already there. Not only that, but the guy humping her was a guy she had history with. He was a obsessive stalker who had made Keeki's life hell in the past, and Keeki was immensely afraid of him. When they first met at that wrestling event, the dude was chill and even friendly, leading her to believe everything was going to be alright. Then, the match started... And of course, nothing that happened here was good for her flagging idol career, or stopping the stalker dude, who was obsessed with ruining said career, and had a huge hand in doing so.

Anyone who chooses to be a Japanese idol is a dumbass anyways, you'd have better luck going to Hollywood and being an actor. And thats saying something, hollywood's shit too, but unlike idol, you can have a boy/girlfriend and not be fired for it.

Although she might be blacklisted from collabing with any other company from now on because a collab with Hololive is still the golden grail for most Vtubers/Company

I mean, if there's anything we learned (or I learned) from watching the Rittenhouse and Chauvin trial is that it's very easy to manufacture a one-sided story when the other is not there to confront you/defend himself. And Kiara has already shown she's not very... wise? quick thinking? Non-neurotic? So that's her story, and it's one sided. We never heard the manager or dude's story. But really. Wrestling show? Video recorded? In Askua cosplay? The noggin joggs

The thing is, she was actually far more successful as foreigner in the Japanese idol industry than most people could have imagined, being part of her own group and getting regular performances. Its just that the Japanese idol industry is a damn cesspool, something she learned the hard way.

The dude in question is a known spazz, way too obsessed with idols and is infamous in certain quarters. He basically made it his personal mission to ruin Keeki's career. His story would be one of a deluded lolcow.

I wanna make the distinction that while I don't like the chicken, the problem here isn't her, but the fans she attracts and creates. She also didn't deserve that and that she's just the sum of her past mistakes leaving her with trauma that she's too dumb to work through.

I think it's actually smart to do when they're younger, as Vtubing has been either an escape or a safe alternative/environment for them down the line. Hololive, 774 and I believe a Niji or two have been idols and definitely benefitted from the skills being a Japanese idol has taught them and those skills have a flawless translation to streaming and voice acting. But you can never convince me that moving to Japan to engage in a culture that's toxic and demeaning to its own natives is a good idea.

I'd like to bring up that Pippa herself doesn't want to collab with almost anyone anyways. She's said it herself hanging out in a call where neither says anything is totally her idea of socializing. I'd also appreciate it if Phase Connect understood that fans know where to go for Pippa if they really wanna make an arse out of themselves and make her content unenjoyable.

As much as I dont particularly care about Kiara or the current nothingburger that has happened, why did most people from this place resorted to slandering her? She hasn't even done anything yet. Does this place really have a hateboner for the en orange woman? It was a distasteful joke and a borderline dox done by a supposedly corpo chuba, of couse people will react. Yes its a dox simply by virtue of Pippa pandering to both here and 4chan, she knows most of her audience will get it. And there is bound to be a kfp lurking here or there that gets mad at something like this enough to alert prisma, they are a cult after all. Its a funny haha joke but Pippa shouldn't be surprised by the consequences of her actions, with her joining a corpo and all. I don't think she minds either way, getting out of the maro might actually be a win for her.
