They will bring it if only to preserve the argument for appeal. Appeals courts usually never overturn jury verdicts, unless there are serious procedural issues with the trial that the defense raises at trial before the verdict.

So we are definitely going to get a mistrial hearing at a minimum.
Well the directed verdict motion is already coming when defense rests and the defense said today they also will file for mistrial with prejudice.
If they can, put it on both and maybe even if the judge doesn't think one should be granted, the psychology of reading both at once might nudge him over the edge on granting the other.

This judge knows the entire judicial system is on trial here. It's why he was so mad about the 5th amendment violations. He wants this trial to be on the up and up and Binger just had to go and be a slime anyway. He's going to let this go to Verdict, but he's also going to make sure Bingers shenanigans get put in the pre verdict record.

What Binger did was honestly a violation that could land in front of the US Supreme Court. That is what the judge meant when he said what Binger did was a Grave violation. Only Grave violations at the trial level end up at the Supreme Court. The Judge was telling Binger off yes, but his opinion was also going on a transcript the Supreme Court may very well end up reading.

There are fates worse then death, and for an American prosecutor, one of those fates is to be the guy the Supreme Court uses as an example for constitutional violations at trial. Your career dies immediately. It's rare though and the smarmy fuck probably is betting its rare enough to never effect him.

While many of the developments of the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse appeared to go south for the prosecution Wednesday, some on the left demanded a new judge after his phone rang during the trial and revealed a patriotic ringtone.

Rittenhouse is on trial for shooting three protesters during political unrest in August 2020 in the wake of the police shooting of Jacob Blake. Two of the three protesters died.

On Wednesday Kenosha County Circuit Court Judge Bruce Schroeder berated the assistant district attorney for Kenosha County in what many saw as a sign that the case was possibly headed towards a dismissal by mistrial.
In response, many on the left latched on to the idea that the judge's ringtone was evidence that he was biased in favor of Rittenhouse.

Among those were the former White House photographer during the Obama administration, Pete Souza, who tweeted, "Mistrial. Assign a new judge."
These libs should be happy then the ringtone isn't the song of Hong Kong '97 or any anti-commie song.

I hope Judge "Don't Get Brazen With Me" Schroeder makes it his life goal to fuck Binger over royally.

"Get another kick at the cat" is how Kyle's lawyer put it. I was seriously triggered. Are cats kicked around in Wisconsin? That would be worse than anything Kyle is accused of doing.
Have you ever met a redneck? There is a small but vocal minority of them with psychopathic tendencies and a pathological hatred for cats.
Note that they are never farmers. Farmers need cats to keep mice down. Normally cops and such.

I think the reason this case is so interesting is that you really see how people are conditioned into different realities. How those realities can be based on stories and not facts. People get told what to think and they believe it full heartedly.

There's virtue signaling that you believe this fake reality and story. Despite clearly knowing nothing. If you're not following the trail, don't know the situation or the facts. Completely ignorant to it. Despite some simplistic narrative, why would you comment with absolutely certainty?

I read all the, "the Oscar goes to" comments before I saw the video of him crying. I don't at all understand how those people could make those comments in good faith, unless they are brainwashed.

It's also so strange how the meme like retorts that fill modern discourse apply to this. You know, when someone has a prepared line to respond to criticism or an argument that isn't at all valid or making any sense. Yet they think it invalidates an argument, or facts when it does nothing of the sort.

I have seen endless, "well why did he carry a gun across state lines" comments about this today. It's a strange acknowledgement they know he'll get off, know it's self defence. Combined with a display of knowing fuck all about the case and not following it.

It's staggering.

There's just a smugness to the way the ignorant are commenting on this case which is so fucking irritating. Is this a feature of their ideology? To talk and discuss with absolutely certainty to present an established conclusion to avoid conversation or dissent?

It has so many features of everything that's wrong with the world, discourse, social media and the divide in society these days.
People had an emotional conclusion that they have held onto for over a year now. Rittenhouse went to Kenosha looking for trouble and hunted down civil rights protestors because he was a white supremacist. Oh and he was such a little bitch that his mommy drove him across state lines to the protest that night. NONE of that is true. But people believe it because it fits their preconceived notions.

Everyone still believes that and nothing will change their views, even the direct facts. It doesn't help that the media is FLAT OUT LYING about the case,

I hope Judge "Don't Get Brazen With Me" Schroeder makes it his life goal to fuck Binger over royally.
There is a VERY good chance if the Jury returns a not guilty verdict Schroeder is going to call a Contempt hearing. Kyle's "friend", Bye-ceps "Friend" and yes, Binger, should probably start shopping for lawyers.

Flipping their shit over a judge that cares about the Rule of Law and has a patriotic ringtone says it all: these are NOT your fellow Americans. They are a hostile force bent on your destruction.
