Not really. Most of the site didn't even know him because he abandoned it and just treated it as a free money pump. He interacted with the site at most a couple times a year. He was as absent a father to the site as he was to his own children.

Hatred of Lowtax became something of an assumption on the site after his departure. He really fell off the grid somewhere in the early 2010s. As time went on (and he deteriorated in front of everyone's eyes) he became much more maligned, especially with the domestic violence stuff. It might depend on the boards I'm looking at, but I saw him get shit on a lot lately.
