How tf you gonna go to a movie theater if you have agoraphobia?

Easy. Go during the day in the middle of the week. Especially if you don't live in a big city. Hardly anyone goes to the movies between 11-4 on a Tuesday (let's say). You have the theater almost to yourself, sit in the first third of the theater and when the lights go down its like you're all alone.

Some theaters have aisle seating that's two or three seats deep, sit there and no one will sit next to you unless the movie is sold out which isn't too likely unless it's opening weekend.

Honestly a movie theater is probably the easiest public place for someone with an anxiety disorder to go to. You're with others but you're also completely alone. No one will talk to you, but if they do help (kicking them out) is a short way away.

On zoom class today while the prof was talking about bias in subject headings, she talks about how trannies are trying to get the LCSHs changed from "sex change" to "transition (gender)" with the reasoning that not everyone who is TG gets sex reassignment surgery.

And im like, wait. One, trans medicalists would disagree with that perspective. As Exlunsiac would say, the church of the nonbinaries is different from trans classic. Two, not everyone in society believes that TW are women; that TM are men; and that nonbinaries are valid. That discussion has yet to be had.

On top of that, the professor didn't assign a discussion post for this week.

if a xtian was teaching a class where they talked about how creationists wanted to switch catalogs to get rid of any mention of the earth being 4.5 billion years because it makes them uncomfortable and then prevented an opportunity for students to express their criticisms, people would get mad.
