Inactive Richard "Lowtax" Kyanka - Deadbeat (emphasis on "Dead") founder of Something Awful, forced out of his own community, on his second divorce, stuck his dick in crazy, "Birth Giver"

It's fitting he is apparently dead as the sites he created and influenced slowly burn to the ground. While he was a controversial figure for sure he helped shape the fun side of the Internet and paved the way for people after him. With the free remnants of the Internet being further encroached upon by corporations and purists, hopefully it too doesn't suffer the same fate as SA and fade out.

Goon(ie)s never die...

Seeing people celebrate his death across the internet with 'Good riddance' does concern me, in regards to the message it sends to people in a similar boat

It makes me worried that the next Lowtax won't just try to take a few people with them on the way out, if they know their suicide alone will be cause for celebration
I think Lowtax is a special case, considering he had like over two decades worth of treating people like shit, and that includes a whole lot of people who got unjustly banned at one point or another because Lowtax felt like it that day. And considering SA bans cost you money, it feels like getting robbed and not having a way to complain about it without getting mocked by his inexplicable simps.

So that's a personal incentive to hate the guy, and then you layer that on top him acting despicable towards his kids and exes, and the entire goon hivemind openly loathing the guy after he relinquished his power, and it's no wonder why people are coming out of the woodwork to dance on his grave.

Like, you're always gonna get a few gravedancing assholes with anyone's death, but you're not gonna see tons of people spitting on Spoony's corpse when he finally kills himself.

Spoony is exactly who was on my mind when I wrote that comment

I've seen his subreddit and I don't doubt there will be plenty of people there who feel morally justified celebrating his death for 'patreon scamming' or being such a miserable person on twitter

Your life in the internets eyes can be condensed into the single worst thing you ever did, from the moment they learn of it until you're long rotting

I'd imagine the power users on his sub would be the handful of assholes gravedancing, while everyone else says something like "he was very troubled and I wish things went differently and he didn't go through with it, RIP, my thots and pears go out to his family". Spoony did piss off his fanbase, but not continuously for decades while acting like a contentious jackass and being gunt guarded until the final year of his life.

Shit, I don't even think Onision is gonna have as many people coming out of the woodwork as Lowtax. EVERYONE has a reason to hate this guy.

Lmao, I don't think you need to worry about Spoony getting "tooled up" to take some people down with him. He lacks the basic motivation required to be a spree killer. Hell, he can barely work up the effort to sadpost on twitter.

If he did try it, it would probably end up like that couch cuck fella - poorly planned and executed, and just all round embarrassing.

As @Pissmaster said, Lowtax is a special case. He was a serious shitty person, and blew all his money so it wouldn't go to his exwife/daughters. The worst thing about Lowtax's death is it didn't happen sooner. He just siphoned cash the site made, wasted it on $50 mail order hostess pies, and cried poverty and needing donations to fix his spine while driving a leased GTR.

Now, while there are people doing the crab rave understanding just how big of a turd Lowtax was, yes, in the conga line over his tombstone there are also plenty of permatriggered butt hurt trannies who are just celebrating that he's dead because that's what the hive mind tells them to celebrate since he was "an enemy". Or best case, because they knew he had done some unwoke shit in the past. But I don't think its worth trying to separate out sheep and goats here.

tl;dr: I feel you. But Lowtax's bloated corpse is definitely not the hill to die on because he really was a scummy piece of shit. Also Spoony is too big of a pussy to kill himself let alone others.

or even more succintly:
If he did try it, it would probably end up like that couch cuck fella - poorly planned and executed, and just all round embarrassing.

Apologies if late

He didn't even have the decency to livestream it.
What a fucking nigger.
Him and Byuu Near /David Ginder must be cut from the same timber.

They both lived and breathed the Internet age; made contributions to our way of life with media, and then refused to die within the realm they created with no livestream. And they both had money and relative fame and devotees. But it wasn't enough.

And they both backstabbed people and blamed others just prior to their selfish acts, used the medium and people they blamed to disseminate their bullshit justifications and then don't give us the satisfaction.

I see common ground here. It is like a whore house with the stories of the slut with the golden heart - but the stories are all the fucking same retold.

There's another reason why Goons will continue spitting on Lowtax's corpse, they don't want to accept any blame for the events as they transpired.

And don't get me wrong, the Goons are not responsible for Lowtax's suicide and all his lousy behavior. But their absurd support in donating ridiculous sums of money to the lazy bastard is what facilitated everything going so horribly wrong. For more than a year Lowtax made thousands of dollars every month for his shitty gaming streams. And who knows how much money that antiquated forum generated over two decades.

The people donating to Lowtax's Baby Mama, well I can't judge all of them maybe some just feel bad for her but I'm certain others are doing it as a form of indulgence. The fun will be seeing if Jeffrey of YOSPOS can be the David Miscavige of Something Awful.

I noticed this same phenomenon back in August, it reminds me of the old movie "A Face In The Crowd." In a nutshell a random schmuck strikes fame and everything that comes with it, he then fucks it all up because his audience finds out that he sees them as idiots. The definitive lolcows, ones who have hundreds of thread pages are not young men anymore. They're mostly in the same age demographic as Chris Chan who will be 40 in a few months. 40 is a scary number because you're nowhere near young anymore and if you've squandered those prime years you're often left feeling like you're in a hole you cannot escape. And with that comes more reckless behavior and society judges these people harder.

I hope the Zoomers and the next generation can learn from these fascinating trainwrecks, they currently seem to do better jobs in maintaining anonymity & willfully nuking accounts when they've made a horrendous faux pas. But as long as there's social media & the desire to attract attention lolcows will always exist and I'll watch in fascination

That's very true. Lowtax is being used as scapegoat for all of the posters' past sins of being unwoke.
"Boy I have some posts in my history I am not proud of about niggers and faggots. But the board was a different place, it was run by domestic abuser and sex creep Lowtax, and he forced me to make those posts about Trannies not being real women. But he's dead now, so my sins against wokeology have been cleansed, I even donated to his victims. Don't worry, we won't get fooled again".
