I admittedly don't know how common getting a pet sitter through an app is (I feel like normal people ask family or friends), but I can't fathom just turning over your house to some total rando. A family friend I could see inviting them to grab a snack from the fridge if they're hungry but even if something like that was offered I can't begin to imagine offering your BATHROOM to someone to take a bath in.
How does she even do that sneakily? Wouldn't they notice the used towels, if nothing else? That suggests she's wiping her nasty-ass chest sores on some poor stranger's towels, hope to god it really isn't anything contagious.
For extra classy points, what's the over/under on her making like one of our classy Beauty Parlor cows and taking butthole pictures while at some stranger's house? Or worse yet, if she can find someone willing to fuck her for pay, deciding to use these houses as her personal by-the-hour motel room?

That's a good catch. There is a very particular type of person who speaks that was. Everything is written in passive voice because they don't do anything wrong, things just happen to them. If I pick Kindness she'll steal from my house and soak in my tub, but if I pick Bonnie he will straight up kill my pets with neglect like he is doing to her rats and the alpacas when he was on the tranch.
Guess I'll pick Kindness even though it means the tub will become a biohazard that will need to be destroyed. I'll sit out some scratchy blankets and doggie kibble for her, but no way would I leave any of my valuables in the house.
Picking either of them still just feels horrific, like I'm sentencing my animals to the most inhumane torture imaginable. Neither of them should be around animals (and especially not children). After reading this thread I'm never going to use Wag or any similar gig service ever.

I really hope those huskies are okay and that their house is not destroyed (her infectious body being in their linens and bathtub are gross enough). There are horror stories all over about people whose dogs have been hurt or killed, or homes damaged by people using apps like Rover or Wag.
The way the apps work having the pet sitters be independent contractors seems like a great way to keep the companies out of trouble and make it tough to get paid back when something goes wrong. "Additionally, when signing up to use Rover, customers agree to bring any claims against the company to individual arbitration, a process that keeps issues out of court and prevents people from banding together to pursue combined cases such as a class action lawsuit, unless they explicitly opt out of the agreement with a written notice."
It looks like you also have to pay a fee to get a background check on the sitters by Rover. It is astounding the trust some people have, to leave their homes and pets in the hands of random strangers on an app that takes little to no responsibility for the outcome.

I figured out why reading this thread is so unpleasant compared to Kevin or the Tranch’s, and it’s because Alyssa’s r.etarded ass makes me actually a bit MATI.

Didn’t she and Bonnie just go hit up a ton of food banks not very long ago? Does she really need to be rummaging through this lady’s kitchen? Speaking of food banks, it’s always irked me that she wants to larp as this ~animal rescue~ and yet she literally cannot even feed herself with a steady income.

The kinds of customers for these pet sitting apps are also only thinking about how much cheaper it is than hiring a normal person without thinking about why it's cheaper. These services can be so cheap because these apps are paying absolute peanuts, and the only kinds of people who are willing to "work" for those slavery waves are absolute reprobates like Alyssa that can't hold normal jobs. I bet she took down her Twitter because the dogs destroyed a bunch of stuff while she was there, and she needed to hide the fact that she was not watching them, stealing food, and then left during the time she was supposed to be working.

We might not document everything, but if she is trying to hide her negligence about this dog sitting situation, there's enough here to make things difficult for her. The fact that she attempted to hide stuff actually makes it look worse.
I wondered if she took a trip to the ER simply to have some kind of cover for why she left the dogs alone and things got destroyed. She might be trying to claim a medical emergency (though a skin rash is not really an emergency situation) so she doesn't get in trouble for whatever happened.
I hope that the dogs are okay. How this woman was ever allowed to watch children is a mystery. They must be terrible parents if they couldn't see what a nutcase Kindness is. Care for your kids is not a place you can cut corners. Or caring for you dogs, either. I've actually paid friends/family members to dog sit before. I figure I would pay a stranger to do it, so that way I don't feel guilt about asking friends and I get peace of mind knowing someone I trust is there to take care of them.

going off of her using her real name for her dog walking jobs, we have every one of her aliases plus her real name listed on this thread. if someone googled any one of these names the thread would probably pop up fairly quickly on the search. i would like to think any potential new hire is subject to a quick google check especially for a one time job dogsitting at someone's house.
her crimes are very well documented thanks to her own inability to shut her mouth... but it might be too optimistic to assume that she got got by the law based off some twitter posts.
