Figuring he didn't pull any OT he had 260 days of work in a year and maybe 10 encounters a day so 2600 incidents per year ranging from traffic tickets to tackling people running from a crime. Scale that up to 20 years and you have a general guess of 52,000 events handled by Chauvin during his time working as a cop and only 20 people ever felt the need to complain. If anything having only 1 complaint for a year is low. Reminder that a complaint doesn't have to be truthful, just that someone put paperwork in on him.

Like anything else in life it depends, where you end up, who you end up with. A biker 'friend' of mine was in prison for killing a few people. Supposedly, I have no idea if the thing wasn't all made up, but everything checked out as far as I could see. These people weren't my 'friends' of course, just friends of 'friends'. Anyway, a biker 'friend' of his was in for making out with a 15 year old in his trust. It was consensual, in as much as it could be consensual. It was still a betrayal of trust.

The biker who did the dirty deed was just a small ratty man. But still, not someone most people wanted to fuck with. Doubly so because he was a biker and had a gang behind him. None of this mattered in getting sentenced and none of it mattered in prison. He got to do a couple of years over it at least. This is where my other biker 'friend' steps in to give him protection. You fuck with him, you fuck with me. And that was that. Everyone left the guy alone. Because to come down on the other guy was to come down on the whole biker gang. I won't mention their name. Pretty sure a lot of this was made up as it went along. But some of it is definitely true, because there are references from various disconnected sources.

I don't like pedos as much as the next guy, but to think that prison punishment is any justice is wrong. We are supposed to be better than animals, that is why we don't just hang, draw and quarter people any more. It's why we don't have a death penalty (at least in my country). I'm not arguing either way. It's probaby best to stop shitting the thread up with this crap.

But yeah, give the whole prison rape thing a miss if you can. It's boring, and it also paints you in a bad light if you advocate for it. It's impotent rage at least. A sexual fantasy at worst. There are other ways to reach justice and rehabilitation. Male rape isn't one of them. We supposedly live in a civilised society with laws 'n shieet!

This trial is putting paid to that notion and in a far more interesting manner though, which is why you should save that shit for every other thread where people sped out about it.

In a clear cut, obvious instance of self defense like this? A police investigation, sure. But a trial? This was for the local and state government, not the retards who got shot while trying to murder a 17 year old boy.

Hopefully the defense gets out ahead of the prosecution amd points out in their closing arguments that:

• The prosecutors are full of shit and want them to believe things like
  • grosskruetz ran towards him and stuck a gun in his face but he totally didn't want to shoot him!
  • Kyle "re-racked" his rifle even though you can clearly see he did not in the video!
  • He must be a murderer because he played Call of Duty!
• All of the things wrong with the drone footage, such as
  • It supposedly show Kyle holding his rifle left handed
  • His "hand" was apparently floating there before he got there
  • If you match up the picture of Kyle holding his rifle pointing down and to the left, the angles of the rifle and his body match up exactly
  • None of the good quality footage shows him pointing his rifle at anyone
  • You can't even see where Ziminski is in the video, so how the fuck are you supposed to be convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that he was pointing at him from this?
  • Even if for some reason they don't buy all of this, it's still a blurry pile of dog shit that they magnified by a factor of 100, making the area of interest like 15x15 resolution

At this point, you have to rely on the jury not being pozzed. Most of the people getting butt hurt about this case, myself included, are doing so over procedural processes. Kyle's defense teams know the facts are on their side and it's made them lazy as fuck in the trial. I still think it's probably 70/30 that he walks, but the judge is letting a lot of shit slide while the defense sits on their hands and refuses to object to it.

The judge said he was using steel jacketed ammo today. The prosecution was telling people hollow points explode the other day. The defense has made zero effort to hire a ballistics/firearms expert to counter the prosecution's talking points. Really makes me wonder where those $2 million in donations went.
