Am I a bad person if want Rittenhouse to be found guilty because I think it will lead to better content?

Rittenhouse being convicted would certainly cause quite the meltdown here, and in a few rightoid corners of the web, but it's indisputable that an acquittal would result in much more seethe at the mainstream level (Twitter, MSM, etc.)

The most boring result will be if he gets off on murder, but still gets time for reckless endangerment. Then both sides sorta get their way, and things probably just slowly fizzle out after a week-or-so.

Man, this case really gives me a renewed sense of trust in our infallible legal system.

That's funny, because I want the guy found not guilty on all charges, but for the exact same reason.
Both sides will be seething with one of outcome. Its a win-win for the people who are indifferent, and I can’t possibly wait.

I am partial to some good milk.

But I kind of feel bad for him if that ends up being what happens. I mean there's always chance for an appeal.

Would be funniest if he was found guilty on the most milquetoast of charges but got to walk regardless. Would make literally everyone mad lmao
Found guilty on one lesser included charge. Sentenced to time served. Adjourned!

The fact that the media, almost universally, expects a not guilty verdict says it all. they know its likely it wont stick. thats why its all Muh state line and Muh AR15.
If you search "he crossed state lines" on twatter, its blue check after blue check or some weirdo with a red rose and open borders bios sperging out about Kyle driving 20 minutes.
Even Glenn Greenwald picked up on the NPC mantra and made fun of them.

The lawyers would spend weeks analyzing it, the ones who believe he's guilty would scream and fight the people who believe he's innocent in an echo of "WE WON" "BUT HE'S STILL GUILTY" and they'll continue to fight amongst themselves. MSM would go through the five stages of grief...

And then the people who believe he's innocent would get upset that he got charged with anything and after the victory lap is over they'd bitch about it.

i have a theory now hear me out.

you know how people are worried about the media tainting the jury over the weekend? well what if that backfires? what does the media say about kyle rittenhouse? he's a racist, he shot black people, he crossed state lines with a gun, he went there to shoot people and other blatantly false and horrible things.

if i were on the jury, i'd see all this stuff after having seen all the evidence to the contrary and you know what i'd think? the media is trying to lynch this kid. i'd do whatever i could to stop it as well. what are the odds a few other people on the jury are thinking the same thing? let me put it in another way, imagine you were on the jury and had the same line of thinking as me. now imagine that was your home town that got burned down and looted.

edit: people will bring up chauvin, but the truth is that he wasn't ever gonna go free even in a normal trial. he would have gotten manslaughter at minimum.

Speak for yourself, I don't know what you go for in terms of salt. Personally I think an acquittal will. I personally am hoping for an AL Sharpton meltdown if he gets off. Plus a not guilty verdict will send the dumb white bitches I know just to laugh at into meltdown mode, and I always get joy from that.

While this is meant to scare people out of not defending or arming themselves, we may see an opposite effect. Why not go for a high score since you are fucked anyway?

Also, not sure why I can't see this thread unless its the most recent post in the happenings. Its simply not on the list of threads on https://kiwifarms.net/forums/happenings.94/ ? I don't think I set any filter.

Not guilty would be best for pretty much everyone. It'll send the left into a frothing rage as well as set a precedent (even if not legal) that if leftwing mobs attack you you're justified in shooting them. Also possibility of antifa chimpout. Not guilty is by far the better verdict in all cases. The right by and large respect the court system (even if they don't like it) in a way the left doesn't, so if he goes away I doubt much would happen.

Not to mention that there is no way they didnt see the videos/memes and news over the past year before they were picked.

It's a Smith and Wesson m&p 15. It's on the lower end of price scale for ar15s. Not anything fancy or top end, but not a bad gun either. You can get far worse ars, but you can get much better ones as well.
It’s an unironically good entry option. Same with Ruger’s equivalent. What are they going for now, anyway? Haven’t been to my local gun store in a while.

I'll say this for Glenn Greenwald, he sticks to his guns and is consistent in his views and reporting. I remember he caught a lot of crap for pointing out Obongo drone killed loads of brown people, didn't fire that shitty press secretary who said an American that was blown up by mistake should have had better parents and of course Obongo's jihad against reporters who did actual reporting instead of sucking his peen.

Also he and his husbando rescue stray dogs in Brazil so that's pretty cool.

He's one of the "good ones."

It simultaneously both does and doesn't surprise me that the people who think those who cross national lines and multiple state lines, argue that they shouldn't be punished, deported, or even excluded from government benefits, are the same ones that argue crossing one state line means you are free game to be attacked by a pedophile, a kidnapper, and a domestic abuser, just because you're 17.

And yes, I'm well aware that everyone else mildly right leaning or further has said the exact same thing. I just enjoy that Greenwald saying it legitimizes radical centrists like me who believe that self defense is a natural right.

Exactly.

Not only that, but it's much, much less simple than ditching the brass and a gun part or two. These events aren't spontaneous at all, they're coordinated. These shiftless ex-con faux-commie fucks are bused in for the express purpose of destroying shit and terrorizing the locals. Law enforcement is well aware it's coming. Why do you think FBI drone footage is available? Not only that, but every pseudo-journo and most of the participants are constantly filming. And that's to say nothing of the surveillance cameras the businesses likely put up knowing their shit was about to get wrecked.
The real question is why the FBI drone footage was already focusing and following Kyle around.

Someone posted a theory that Kyle was the target of a glowy op, trying to cause a violent confrontation, since he was one of the "far right extremists" who got himself isolated. The more I think about why the fuck that drone was following Kyle, and Kyle specificlaly, around, the more I wonder.
