I am so angry right now. My dad’s lovely girlfriend has a 32 year old son- very successful, runs his own drilling company, hundreds of employees. First baby is due in a month. Waited as long as he could but felt he needed the shot to travel for work.

He got his first Pfizer shot a month ago and got hit with myocarditis, pretty bad. Spent a week in the hospital. Three weeks later, back at work. My dad stopped by the office to visit, dude wanted to tour him around a bit. This poor bastard was completely winded after going down one flight of stairs.

He’s getting pressured to get the second jab and is considering it because there are no exemptions here for the nutso Covid restrictions. There’s a good chance he won’t see his kid grow up.

I feel so awful for his family. They seem nice, just normal people.

For a “1 in 10000 frequency” occurrence or whatever, I really shouldn’t know anyone with this problem. I barely interact with anyone and I mostly run with fellow unvaccinated outcasts. But most of my friends have similar stories about close people in their lives.

I know multiple women who miscarried after their third dose/booster. Only one of the three attributes it to that, but one of them was at 18 weeks with a healthy pregnancy and no known defects. I believe in letting people evaluate risks for themselves. I had hoped any paranoia I had about these mRNA products was misplaced, I have a low tolerance for risk from new sources, I'm not an "early adopter" generally. I urged my immunocompromised relatives to take it and told them it was a good idea to get as soon as possible when they came out. And here I am, wondering if I really messed that up. Dooming them to an infinite spiral of depression and never realizing true happiness, and entirely out of their own ignorance and pride in their ways.

There's more ways to punish people then just fire and brimstone. Most of these horrible people would doom themselves to their own misery if they were given what they 'want'.
