You said redjuice was an incredible artist. I looked at them, and you're right they are, but this piece in particular is fucking terrible.

If her design looked anything like her twitter profile picture, she'd be watchable. But it doesn't, hell if she looked like any of the art you just posted, she'd be watchable.

And as for azki, i didn't even know she was a thing until a few days ago. She apparently sings more than she plays games. If i wanted anime girl youtubers that only sang, id listen to kira make miku sing something.

Someone said azki had an old model, i looked at it, and it was nice. You can put azkis old and new model in a line with the other holos, and it wouldn't matter. It'd fit perfectly. You put irys's model in a line with them, and she sticks out like a sore thumb. It doesn't fucking belong there.

For IRyS it’s the hair actually. It’s looks extravagant in 2D and character sheet but somehow fail when it becomes Live2D.

Some art can translate well into Live2D and redjuice probably the opposite.

Though Wadarco design for Kronii as Neroface really translate well into Live2D. Hope Redjuice can redesign IRyS for her next costume (get rid of the hair keep the horn and give her short hair like Moona would work out just fine.

On that note, hope Cover can get ReDrop design their next Vtuber and thus convince Takeuchi to give us a saberface Vtuber. I don’t mind another Morgan Le Fae inspired Vtuber with queen X mom personality. ReDrop can just stick to Kama formular and give a silver hair girl with red eyes and have 3 alternative forms as subsequent costumes.

I 100% agree with this post. When she had her debut, I said that she looked like a puppet from The Dark Crystal. I hated it. But she won me over with her personality. Now even though her model could still use a touch up and better mouth tracking, IRyS has easily become one of my favorites in Hololive.

Then we are done here, I guess? Don't like her, don't watch her, simple as that. Nobody forcing you to watch her. Hell, I hardly watch her solo stuff myself, I was just throwing in my two cents as to how she was received by the community and her character's subsequent evolution, that's all. I'm not trying to sell you anything.

There are plenty of VTuber superstars that I don't find appealing. I'll poke fun at literally anyone, but I won't spend time listing every single reason for hating upon them ad nauseum.

Unless it's Artia. Fuck that traitor with a reeducation stick.

The Pippa and Beatani collab was peak schizo entertainment. Beatani genuinely sounded lost at times, having zero idea what the fuck Pippa was rambling about. The bluntness of the bear's ESL-ness was great. The fetish segment was... actually a bit disturbing -- abuse and amputee porn, what the fuck is wrong with them.

What caused Beatani to get banned from Twitter? I'm surprised Pippa didn't bring it up.

Thank you. I’ve been trying to boil down why I love IRyS now. I was completely filtered by her design, but her personality has transcended it.

On another note: I would take Ame’s cursed artwork of her that was used on Halloween then her official design, but that’s just me.
