Inactive Richard "Lowtax" Kyanka - Deadbeat (emphasis on "Dead") founder of Something Awful, forced out of his own community, on his second divorce, stuck his dick in crazy, "Birth Giver"

Yeah, it really can't be over stated how accepting the forum was of Lowtax's dirty little secret until it started spilling outside of the forums. Once they couldn't just brush it off as forum drama, goons found their conscience. It's really transparent, and seeing how many people were banned for spreading the initial accusations is really pathetic.
An SJW fandom turned out to be massively hypocritical when it came to its own community? Alert the presses.

It's just sperging. He was known to have some guns in 5.7. (Most serious gun nuts went out and got one or both in the 2000s when they came off 'LE only' sales, so it's a natural that Rich had one.)

In this thread we've had amazing claims, up to and including '12 gauge to the brain is a slow lingering death' to try to gin up Lowtax torturedeath fantasies. I think the exceptionalism needs to slow down on that front before someone goes full fudd and says 'should'ta used a fawty five'.

A lotta koshers will be pretty pissed to find out their principal is a goy...unless.....
Fucking figures that brattax is yet another beneficiary of Jewish nepotism.

I’m changing my F to S. Just when I started to feel bad for the guy we find out he’s a yid.

This totally explains the frizzy hair

I was bored, also found out his sister isn't a failure, has a doctorate in education and is a principal at a hebrew school. (https://www.hbha.edu/)

She doesn't really look like him. I wonder if their father's the same?

Says she's been principal since 2011!

Lowtax made an absolutely ridiculous amount of money off of something awful even despite his failings. If he hadn't pissed away every cent he ever made on thousand dollar chairs, goldbelly pies, office space in a retail center, ambien, box wine, and multiple divorces, he would easily have been a multi-millionaire. The forum revenue definitely fell off in recent years, but hell, Lowtax was making 15k a month from his patreon alone in 2019, and the only thing that stopped that gravy train was when it became public knowledge that he was banging his side piece in his own home while his wife and kids hid in a battered woman's shelter.
While he did blow money on stupid shit he would have still been fine and rich if not for the drug addiction. His addiction was even compounded by wanting to be a medically approved drug addict so besides the drug expense (legal and illegal) he had to pay doctors and surgery bills to keep up the pretense of needing all his drugs.

I think what Null said on his podcast was 100% correct. Lowtax was incapable of dealing with any level of discomfort, even just normal existence was too much. He needed to be high all the time or “his spine” was in agony.

I think he had problems with drugs for years but it seems like when he got hit with some big tax bills and the responsibilities of his third kid, with a wife who expected more than him staying in bed all day, he went all in on the opiates and benzos. Nobody can afford to do that for very long. He almost hit the wall but Goons bailed him out with the Paetron and enabled him to stay high as balls for another year and make all kinds of terrible decisions as a result (Logan).

I think he killed himself not because he was going to be destitute from the divorce settlement but because he knew he wouldn’t be able to sustain his incredibly expensive drug habit anymore. He could have admitted he had a problem, gone to rehab and tried to rectify the disaster of the last ten years - he would have found plenty of support. I think most ppl just hated his lies and denial of the very obvious.

But he didn’t. He thought death was the better option. Giving what many people have said about Lowtax avoiding his problems (by drugging himself into a stupor) he was ready to die rather than get sober and face reality.

I’ve been curious if Lowtax really had his mom and wives/GF snowed about his drug dependence. They seem to recognize he had a problem but then think it was really just because of his back - which is BS. I just wonder if anyone ever tried to get him into rehab or confront his problem or everyone played along with the “poor Lowtax he’s got terrible problems with his spine.” It’s common for families to go along with the charade rather than confront the ugly problem and have to deal with an angry addict.

Boll is different than Sandler. Adam Sandler makes movies for his hollywood friends... but not in the way you think. Not in the art-house farting way. He makes sets that are low-stress enjoyable environments.

tl;dr is that Adam Sandler is one of the few nice people in hollywood. If he's your hero, you can meet him and not be disillusioned. His sets and scripts are meant to be fun to work on for the talent, and because he's a nice guy, he'll get lots of big-names people to show up for a cameo or bitpart and to show up for bargain basement prices. He doesn't even bother trying to give a coherrent film to the editors, because he knows that the talent list alone will make the film profitable overseas if not domestic.
Basically, Sandler movies are to "real" movies what a bunch of NBA players having a sunday pickup game in the park is to the Playoffs.

Some of his 'serious' films, like Uncut Gems, break this mold - he was trying to make a real movie there. But note the lack of other 'recognizable name' talent in that one.

Boll, for a while, was purposely making movies that would tank because of German Tax Law. As others pointed out, once that loophole closed, he put out decent - not great, decent - content.
Uncut Gems isn’t a Adam Sandler film, it’s 100% a Safdie Brothers film. Sandler didn’t even want to take the role but they were convinced a likable Jewish guy like him was perfect for the role. He was really great in the film but he was just an leading actor cast in it. It’s Safdie film and that’s why it’s a universe a part from an actual Adam Sandler film.

Everything else you say is true. Sandler has always made films that help his buddies stay employed and have fun. He has more loyal friends in Hollywood than probably anyone.

You ae right; my assumption was people would not differentiate between "A film driven by adam sandler" and "a film staring adam sandler". Anyway, back to Lowtax being dead and gay.
