3 applicants = 3 kiwis or bots of some kind I imagine

If a couple of clerical errors makes you think he's a shit lawyer then you'd probably put 99% of lawyers in that category. Which is fair, I guess.
Seriously though, one slip is fine. He wasn't paying attention, or the paralegal he he assigned to the case wasn't paying attention. Now a second fuck-up on the same case in the same situation? Plus all the errors that were pointed out by whatshisname. I dismissed them at first, it's Russhole after all, but this is two fuckups in short order.

I'm not giving up on Based Skordas, not by a long shot, but I am a little concerned.

He's a busy guy. He's suing Null. He's suing AGT, and still running his PAC. He must be having a severe manic episode. I'd feel sympathy, but he's such a slime mold of a human I can only watch and laugh.
I wonder if he's really thought about what it would look like if all of these scams of his actually bore fruit. How would he handle being the face of disability rights, the savior of hookers everywhere, a brothel magnate, executive director of a multimillion dollar non-profit and possible politician, AGT winner, touring recording artist, A-list celebrity having to sort through girlfriend applications, hailed by weirdos everywhere as the man who brought down Kiwi Farms (that probably comes with its own press junket, right?) and also a cool guy who happens to be worth millions and who can give women a better life because unlike literally every other man on earth he won't beat or rape them and merely expects them to be quiet and supportive while they suck him his penis?

I suppose he's just hedging his bets. ONE of his many lolsuits HAS TO work out. Right? He's gonna be famous SOMEHOW, he can just feel it.
So long as Skordas continues to crush Russell in court, he should retain our stamp of approval.
He's just providing extra entertainment, honestly. He might as well be making these little mistakes intentionally for dramatic tension.

ETA

>you do all the work and raise all the money
>you do not get paid, you keep 30% of the money you raise
>russ does none of the work
>russ takes 70% of the money you raise

absolute dream job

He's running his hooker PAC on a brothel model. He's giving them the opportunity to make money! Don't underestimate how valuable that is! Remember, dumb sluts can't work out how to handle the business end of either whoring or fundraising, and they need a man to organize them.

Russell gets an email: "You have three applicants for your job listing!" Then he opens it and finds the applications are from profiles named "Based Skordas," "Hernandez MexicanHenchman" and "Adolf Kiwi."
I'm in the market for a job. Maybe I should apply. Surely DrJonesHat conveys trustworthiness.

I agree with you fwiw, these are pretty stupid mistakes to be making and even if it's some paralegal a day out of school they should know that meeting deadlines are, you know, a thing that's important with the court. I would be pretty pissed at this point no matter how reduced his rate is.

The two best parts are back-to-back:

  • MAKE UP TO SIX FIGURES! This position has the possibility to offer a six figure salary ($100,000 + ), which is again contingent on how well you fundraise and how many calls and hours you put in. For example, we have a goal of calling 500 people a week. Half of those connect. And another half donate 20-50 dollars. That's 125 people donating an average of 50 dollars a week. If you kept this up for a year, that's over a 100,000 dollars. We will help you meet this goal by targeting specific zip codes with a history of large political giving and will give you lists that contain thousands of leads. At the end, it's up to you how well you can sell the message.

I love how his math is retarded and unrealistic at every step. It's like compound interest but with stupidity.

  • However, we can GUARANTEE that if you follow our tips and advice, there is no reason you can't have similar results.

"We can't guarantee results, but we can guarantee that there's no reason you *couldn't* get results."

He talks the way he looks.

Taylor Grande

Erica Connor-Moon
Both Great candidates how could he choose?
Also, Katy Swift. Recently laid off from her job at the clothing factory.

He talks the way he looks.
I didn't know words could sound greasy, but his do. Great, he's so gross he's broken the laws of time and space.

I've seen it mentioned that Skordas is trying to keep Null's billable hours down as low as possible. My non-lawyer guess is that most of the Greer-related stuff has been delegated to a paralegal (possibly from the same school that Russhole went to) to handle, and they've been instructed to do only the bare minimum required by law to keep it warm until said lolsuit is inevitably thrown out.

Not an insult directed at Skordas or his staff; rather it suggests just how seriously he may take Russhole's lolsuits (i.e. probably not at all).
even so, as a (minor PL) former certified CLA/PL, you would not fuck this up

edit: neglected the part about them coming from russ’s school, in which case you are correct

A Safer Nevada has yet to submit any reports, but C&Es are not required until any of the following: (1) contributions total $1k, (2) PAC makes any expenditure for/against candidate or (3) PAC which advocates passage/defeat of ballot question receives a contribution or makes an expenditure of $1,000 or more.

@Picklechu has posted about campaign work before (he/she was “in the biz” IIRC) and im quite curious if Russell is listing the job ad appropriately. Is a 30% cut standard? How would he go about paying the staffer(s), just multiple linked accounts for donations and payroll?
Wouldn’t the temptation to pilfer, should he get ANY sizable donation, be overpowering for dear Russell, the great underdog? I cannot fathom he’d be able to account for each and every dime, should he get even just a grand total in donations.
I'd legitimately be surprised if he's even required to file one; I just checked the Nevada SoS's website, and confirmed he doesn't need to unless he's raised or spent $1K.

If anyone has given him any money, they also deserve a lolcow thread.

Lol, no, the 30% commission fundraising role is ridiculous. I have literally never heard of a fundraising staffer, or anyone else on a campaign for that matter, getting paid via commission. It's always salary/contract, oftentimes with a bonus for a victory (primary/convention/general election/whatever). My guess is that Russ-Russ realized that fundraising is hard, and he's obviously got no money to pay someone else to do it for him, so this is his retarded attempt to save TARDPAC (and also have a person beneath him - hopefully a woman, who might suck him his penis! - to make him feel important). After all, one of his endeavors has to work out!

More bank accounts means more shit to report and more paperwork, so campaigns try to have as few as possible.

If Russ manages to find someone stupid enough to take this "job," it's going to be hilarious, so I kind of hope he defies the odds and "hires" someone. The paperwork fuckups alone will be magical.

Greer was filing electronically in district court IIRC so it's an understandable mistake. Sure, it looks kinda bad to be the one fucking up procedure but once they read Russ's plights it's going to look like nothing.
Local rules are always the easiest to fuck up because you've likely never seen them before.

It seems that it’s technically legal to pay by commission but is widely recognized as unethical at best and downright scammy at worst.

Unethical practices and russell

Skordas isn't handling this himself. It's very much the type of stuff you boot to the most junior of juniors, your summer law student maybe. So making these types of local mistakes is not particularly surprising and is very common.

I like that he says they aren't cold calls because they're from lists of people who donated to other stuff. Greer believes he's unable to do anything on the telephone because of his speech impediment so he's unlikely to have even the first-shitty-job type of cold call experience that ordinary people have.

Could this impact things? Like, obviously the judge isn't gonna rule in Rusty's favor for one missed deadline, but multiple mistakes might eat up alot of good will in terms of going for damages.

I can't speak for that jurisdiction, but here, not really. not unless the judge was inconvenienced in some serious way.
