He did what some will argue the right thing, not the shooting, but helping his community. It's something young men and men in general were bred to value, I think the fact that the modern world is so strange is why a lot of people like Kyle. It's an animal instinct combined with that people can easily rationalize his self-defense. He's become something of a canary in a coal mine for Gun Rights/ Self-defense/ holding your ground against the mob, no matter what the verdict a lot of people are gonna tear there hair out and shit their pants.
Gunning down those pedo thugs was the most right thing any kid has ever done.

*jury exits and has a verdict*
"We find Kyle guilty...... of being based as fuck!"
*Pyrotechnics and laser show goes off, as "I am a real American" plays over the speakers, Binger is handcuffed and sent immediately to a maximum security prison and fatty is pushed down and is incapable of getting back up, sealing his fate*

Feels like a WKUK sketch

I'd want a copy of the instructions for myself because having someone read them to me is fucking aggravating. 36 pages of info? That they want me to remember without letting me tangibly hold onto it? Excuse me while I take Kyle's gun and fellate it while its fully loaded, that would be a more fulfilling experience.
Even if you read it yourself, the majority of it is mumbo-jumbo legal speak. Majority of the jury needs to understand broad strokes, and when you trim the fat of those pages all it amounts to is in regards to the testimony, evidence, and cold hard facts...
  • Did the prosecution do a good job at proving their case y/n? if yes, guilty
  • Did the defense do a good job at proving their case y/n? If yes, not guilty
The prosecution relied on emotions and used the same tactics everyone and their grandmother has seen on social media and even MSM with SJW talking points while showing flimsy-as-fuck evidence. The defense kept hammering in the facts and made the prosecution's witnesses look like fucking idiots.

It's crystal clear that the trial was nothing more than a clown show, with the district attorney being the ringleader, and Binger + Fatty being the clowns performing for everyone, and doing a fucking lousy job at it.

Could you elaborate? I think I understand to a degree but I'd like to hear your take.
They specifically want to look over the self-defense claim in detail, the jury is invested in it and -not- immediately dismissing it. Prosecution tried to muddy the waters of what is required for it, if they want to read it in detail it will entirely nuke that attempt.

FYI

On my earlier point on gun owners, I just wanted to point out that just because a juror may own a gun does not mean the know how to use it effectively.

I would trust Autistic Photographer with a gun vs. a normie as I have seen some pretty reckless behavior at public ranges.

Even with people that are not reckless, at best they are still about as skilled as teen drivers on average. They have a gun in the night stand or a safe and they forget about it. They do not have range memberships nor do they buy ammo in bulk.

The risk is that Bingers responsible gun owner spiel appealed to them and they will use their sophomoric knowledge and pretend to have authority to comment on such issues.

What they need is someone that is an autist with guns.

As an example, I have been through voir dire twice and once I was excused after I told them of my experience with firearms.

I believe the issue was a firearms case for discharging the into the air at midnight for NYE. I didn't think my experience would matter but the DA did.

As the DA ask his questions, the topic of firearms came up. Most were no but we had a significant minority of yes. Then the DA began questioning the male jurors of they type of guns they owned. I was one of two that answered more than one.

So between me an the other juror, the DA began asking do you own more than 5. The other jurors hand goes down. Mine is still up. More than 10. My hand is still up.

At this point, they ask just how many guns I owned which at that time was 12. A surprised look on the DAs face.

Next question about experience.

"Well, I go about three times a month to my local range and I shoot at targets in the most common engagement distances."

"During these exercises, I have special arrangements to be able to go from my holster and engage the targets."

The DA is now staring at me. "Any more experience?"

"I usually attend a professional shooting school every year or so. I have gone to Gun Site in Arizona, courses held by the Massad Ayoob group, and ITTS in Los Angeles. This is in addition to the live fire requalification course I need for my CCW.

Next word is peremptory challenge.
