How much of an exceptional individual do you have to be, to bring your dog to the protest.

People bring their children to the front of protests to martyr them for the news (example: put them in-front of the pepper spray), it works because journalists play along and cut out anything incriminating to the parent.

Not saying the dog is there to get martyred but there can be multiple reasons, maybe to protect them, to attack a counter protester, or they literally never experienced or considered the possibility that bad could happen.

They generally don't bother actually doing this unless they decide you were serious after talking to you, and the majority of people they pay a visit calm the fuck down real quick.

A death threat has to be directed at a person / group, their needs to be a reasonable belief that person will be aware of it, and it needs to be reasonable that the person believe you can carry it out.

The only reason people think (in X) works is because the lack of the threat to meet the three conditions above.

Such:
If someone sent a letter to the White House saying:

"I plan to steal an alien spaceship from AREA 51 and pilot it to the far side of the moon where the vacant space ship from Independence Day is hidden, then fly it to Washington DC to use the Harvester Ion Cannon to vaporize Joe Biden."

That would meet two of the three conditions but the possibility of the threat being carried out is so ludicrous that no federal Attorney General will bring charges.

If a Fed AG were to bring charges, it would just confirm the truth about what they're keeping in Area 51.
