Might have to do some more research into it, but Merrick Garland is getting exposed in the worst way possible, and it’s disturbing how there’s no pushback to this.
It's disturbing how there's no pushback to ANYTHING because people are so terrified of the media destroying their reputations and being the focus of an angry mob.
At this point, literally ANY "right wing talking point" I bring up is immediately dismissed by all but my closest family and friends.
The Kenosha Kid is literally carrying his case and fighting for his life by himself because of this.
You could show the Infrasporker or Pork Back Fatter bills and they'd like just scoff claim bothsidesism and that Congress is inherently corrupt, which in and of itself is a terrifying thing we've normalized for too long.
I'm sorry, but did you three miss the Virginia election? McAuliffe ran on a platform that was on the side of stuff like what the FBI is doing here, right in the middle of a scandal where a troon kid raped a father's daughter and said father was KICKED OUT of the school board meeting for wanting to expose such, and what happened? People DID in fact, push back, and as a result of that pushback -
McAuliffe got BTFO. In a DEMOCRAT STRONGHOLD, no less. Now, don't get me wrong, it IS disturbing that the FBI is still pursuing the route of CRT, but to say that there is absolutely no pushback at all, after everything that has gone down these past couple of weeks, is positively re.tarded. THIS is what
@Chamaelirium and
@Mr. Bung were talking about when they said doomerism is one of the main enemies of the right - it causes you to think all is doom and gloom and to lose sight of the victories we DID achieve. And
@Salubrious - do not forget that your family and friends represent only a small portion of this country. They want you to think that there's no pushback to this at all, so they lie and dismiss anything to the contrary.

Y'know, tomorrow is the 43rd anniversary of the Jonestown Massacre. In the lead-up, I've been reading the book
Raven by Tim Reiterman, which is an excellent book, BTW. Highly recommend it if you have even a passing interest on the subject. One of the things that struck me the most about Jim Jones is that he used a lot of the same tactics that the modern Left uses today:
Jones invited controversy by writing letters to American Nazi leaders and leaking the responses to the press. One leader whom he had challenged to a debate declined the invitation, saying, “It does not surprise me that an integrationist would attempt to annihilate his opponents with love. The trouble with all your beliefs is that they are unnatural.” It would not be the last Nazi hate mail he would publicize; the letters always appeared when Jones was being criticized by more moderate forces. By implication, he tried to portray those who opposed him as Nazi-like—and by so doing, cause them to back off.
He told his followers that only effective crusaders need fear being attacked. If he were not under attack from someone somewhere, his self-importance suffered, and he needed to create his own bogeyman, or to provoke natural enemies, as he apparently did with the Nazis in Indiana.
^Still a tactic that the left uses today, right down to the "bogeyman" - Nazis.
Jones probably devoted more time to catharsis than business. Gradually, pseudopsychotherapy sessions were installed as a regular fixture. The weaknesses of certain individuals—often their sexual interests and practices—were explored in unsparing fashion. Jones often targeted the victims and orchestrated punishments through his surrogates. It was necessary to strip away ego to become a good collectivist, he said. Sessions started with verbal sniping, slipped into verbal brutality that brought people to tears, and gradually plunged into the sphere of physical violence. The residual effects of the larger society needed to be ripped away like dead skin, maintained Jones. It took repetition and confrontation to crush ego problems and jealousy games, to excise the ugly scar tissue of racism and sexism, agism, classism, and to replace it with the healthy muscle of equalitarianism.
Jones made it clear that defending anyone else, especially a friend or a loved one, was forbidden. It would undermine the whole concept of catharsis, allow the person to avoid “confronting himself.” This purging of ego was supposed to make one a better socialist, but members could not escape the pain of being cursed and criticized by brothers and sisters in the cause. Often the sting did not stop when the session ended. A person never could be 100 percent certain about his tormentors again. Friends, spouses and lovers were divided by degrees.
^Can somebody say "cancel culture"?
The endorsement of the Temple by political radicals was a two-way bonding process. Figures such as the communist Angela Davis and Laura Allende, sister of the late Chilean leader, validated the Temple as a social movement to those on the Left, while their presence and support validated the Temple to its own members. Besides Davis, the church proudly numbered among its friends actress Jane Fonda, Black Panther Huey Newton, American Indian Movement leader Dennis Banks and others whose radicalism was to Jones’s liking. Jones desperately wanted their recognition, for he considered himself a lifelong revolutionary and communist.
Witty and wordy Willie Brown served as master of ceremonies. He introduced his fellow politicians so that they could present their gifts: Republican State Senator Milton Marks handed Jones a plaque bearing a resolution passed by the entire State Senate: “This is an outstanding institution which has shown that hope and love still reside in this city.” Marks’s Democratic opponent in the race for his seat, San Francisco Supervisor Robert Mendelsohn, presented a certificate of honor on behalf of the Board of Supervisors.
Ingratiating himself with prominent celebrities and politicians - again, a hallmark of the Left's strategies. And yes, that is the same
Willie Brown that would end up dicking Kopmala Harris.
Willie Brown took the rostrum again: “Let me present to you what you should see every day when you look into the mirror in the early morning hours....” he declared. “Let me present to you a combination of Martin King, Angela Davis, Albert Einstein ... Chairman Mao....”
Then, to the tumultuous applause, Jones stood with his chest thrown forward....
Jones: (More excited) Don’t be afraid to die. You’ll see, there’ll be a few people land out here. They’ll — they’ll torture some of our children here. They’ll torture our people. They’ll torture our seniors. We cannot have this.
"THEY'RE REALLY GONNA GET US YOU GUYS!!!!!!" - again, a hallmark of the Left
And almost nobody in Peoples Temple fought back, because Jones had worn them down so much, had turned them inside and out, had demoralized them to such a degree, that even when confronted with hundreds of infants and children crying out in pain, frothing at the mouth, and literally dying from the cyanide forcibly injected into them/swallowed down their throats, they still praised Jim for "saving" them from the "evil" fascists:
Irene Edwards: (Joyous) I just want to uh, say something for everyone that I see that is standing around and — or crying. This is nothing to cry about. This is something we could all rejoice about. We could be happy about this. They always told us that we could cry when you’re coming into this world. So when we’re leaving, and we’re gonna leave it peaceful, I think we should be — we should be happy about this. I was just thinking about Jim Jones. He just has suffered and suffered and suffered. We have — We have the honor guard, and we don’t even have a chance to (Unintelligible word) got here. I want to give him one more chance. There’s just one more thing I want to say. That’s few that’s gone, but many more here. (Unintelligible) That’s not all of us. That’s not all yet. That’s just a few that have died. I tried to get to the one that — there’s a kid over there (unintelligible) I’m looking at so many people crying. I wish you would not cry. And just thank Father. (Unintelligible) I been here about —
Woman 11: (Weepy) — good to be alive today. I just like to thank Dad, ’cause he was the only one that stood up for me when I needed him. And thank you, Dad.
Irene Edwards: I’ve been here ah — one year and nine months. And I never felt better in my life. Not in San Francisco, but until I came to Jonestown. I had a very good life. I had a beautiful life. And I don’t see nothing that I could be sorry about. We should be happy. At least I am. That’s all I’m gonna say.
Man 4: (Unintelligible phrase) A great deal because it’s Jim Jones. And the way the children are laying there now, I’d rather see them lay like that than to see them have to die like the Jews did, which was pitiful anyhow. And I’d just like to — to thank Dad for giving us life and also death. And I appreciate the fact of the way our children are going. Because, like Dad said, when they come in, what they’re gonna do to our children — they’re gonna massacre our children. And also the ones that they take captured, they’re gonna just let them grow up and be dummies like they want them to be. And not grow up to be a socialist like the one and only Jim Jones. So I’d like — I’d like to thank Dad for the opportunity for letting Jonestown be, not what it could be, (Emphatic) but what Jonestown is. Thank you, Dad.
THIS is what happens when you don't fight back against tyranny. THIS is what happens when you don't call them out on their bullshit. THIS is what happens when you take the attitude of "they're gonna win anyway, so why even bother trying?" THIS is what happens when you drink the doomer's Kool-Aid. By the time you've come to regret your decision to lay down and do nothing but obey the masters, it'll be too late.
TPTB want the entirety of America to be their own personal Jonestown. Don't let this happen. FIGHT BACK. KEEP CHALLENGING THEM. SHOUT "LET'S GO BRANDON" AT ANY FOOTBALL GAME YOU GO TO. REFUSE THE JAB. DO NOT BACK DOWN. Because if you do.....well......
