They are actually correct that it doesn't matter what Rosenbaum's criminal history is if Kyle didn't know it at the time. The issue is that they don't apply it evenly, even literally to the point where they're not applying that logic to Kyle while trying to do it to the people he shot. The correct take is that it doesn't matter if Kyle shot pedos or boy scouts, and it doesn't matter where Kyle lived, where he got the gun, or what shirt he wore after the event. it matters whether Kyle credibly perceived the people he shot to be a threat to his life when he did so, and whether he provoked their behavior first. I'm not even sure if it matters whether Kyle was correct in his perception, only whether he reasonably did perceive so.
I would argue Rapinbum's criminal history is important, because it establishes a pattern of violence.
Gaige Grosskrauts' history is irrelevant because it has no bearing on his behavior that night, but Rapinbum's has a track record for assaulting minors. This makes Kyle's claim to self-defense more relevant, because Rapinbum has a fucking track record for being the aggressor.

It makes the prosecution's claim that Rapinbum was provoked by Kyle less likely, because looking at past history Rapinbum doesn't need to be provoked into attempting to hurt a minor.

>Peaceful Protestors
BLM and Antifa thugs
>Walking past their house
They tore down a gate and entered private property. Had they gotten closer, the Mccloskeys would have a kill count to their name.

Huh, apprantly Mark McCloskey is running for Missouri Senate on a Republican ticket, according to AP.

God, what I wouldn't give to take a bat to his chubby soy-filled face.
I really hate this "peaceful protesters" meme, especially in the wake of the media shitting all over anti-lockdown protests and basically being complete hypocrites when suddenly it's a cause they support.

The ultimate irony is that these idiots hate cops yet want all their political opponents in prison. Like how the fuck does that even work.

There is nothing in the self defense law that differentiates between Kyle shooting pedos or boy scouts but knowing Rosenbaum's history does help to illustrate for the jury and, well, everyone just how dangerous that mob was. The charge against a minor was being led by someone who harmed children for sexual gratification. Really makes you think

To be fair, I don't think sequestering is that common, and coverage was pretty quiet until the trial actually started. I don't think they could have predicted what a circus it would become.
Are you joking? Kyle is the second most famous individual during all the rioting next to George Floyd. No one even remembers the name of the nigger who got shot that started all the rioting there in the first place.

"Its like asking what she was wearing"
No you old fucking boomer bitch, saying that Kyle "shouldn't have been there" or "should have stayed home" or "shouldn't have crossed state lines" is equivalent to asking what she was wearing.

Its a public street, Kyle had every right to be there as did the commie criminal trio that tried to fucking kill him (and probably rape him too, in Pedobaum's case).
These people have broken minds. They are incapable of reason or any sort of objective evaluation of anything. Its pointless to argue with them. Just bash their heads in.

they just hate cops because the cops don't (yet) work for their side exclusively.
their goal isn't a society without cops, their goal is a society where they themselves are above the law while the cops exclusively punish and crack down on their political opponents.

They want to become the cops and/or fully state sponsored attack dogs alongside them, same as the Venezuelan colectivos. Just look at what they do when they become prosecutors. Do they refrain from unethical lawyer behavior and seek to ensure everbody has a fair trial? Nope, they just skip right to ensuring nobody on their 'side' even faces a trial at all while pulling every dirty, unconstitutional trick they can on people not on their side like what is on full display here. Something something political distinctions friend and enemy.
