A comparison would be it was the early 20th Century's Korean or Vietnamese war - with regards to how they tested newly developed weapons, tactics, and technologies. From the Krauts, Soviets, Internationale etc.

It seems to me that there are 3 types of people that want Kyle to get locked up, and they are:
1) People with bad intel (read/saw some story about it that was full of lies that they based their opinion on. FFS some still believe that Kyle shot black people)
2) People who really really don't like guns (just the fact that he was walking around with an AR-15 paints him as a troublemaker to these guys)
3) People who absolutely hate trump supporters to an alarming extent (whether they saw somewhere that he supports 'blue lives matter', or saw that one article claiming he went to a trump rally, real or fake, that's all it takes)

I can understand if someone falls into the first category because there have been so many lies made about this incident, and MAYBE I can understand if someone falls into the 2nd category because they've never been around guns and only see them as psychotic murder tools that movies make them out to be. Everyone else is probably just plain-old-fashioned retarded.

I am blown away that there are people out there simping for the prosecution. Aren’t these the same people who say the criminal justice system is rigged? Or do they just want it to let black and brown people commit whatever crimes they want and have white people be jailed for defending themselves? I can’t say I’ve ever approved of the State cheating and violating anyone’s rights. In fact, most conservatives would be outraged at seeing such behavior because the defendant might be released on appeal for it. Leftists are so obsessed with a conviction they want to do things that will make it impossible to do so. To them: as long as he’s convicted they don’t care if he’s released later, in fact they probably want a good excuse to riot and intimidate people because of it.
