I only just read the previous page, and I now understand why some people want the entirety of this thread's current participants threadbanned.
Even in Australia we have our fair share of armchair lawyers commenting online on what's self-defense and what isn't - in one of the least self-defense-friendly countries in the world.
A comparison would be it was the early 20th Century's Korean or Vietnamese war - with regards to how they tested newly developed weapons, tactics, and technologies. From the Krauts, Soviets, Internationale etc.
For the Soviets' part, their psyops went well - they managed to sabotage the Republican unity!
