I've been thinking about this since it was pointed out Wisconsin doesn't really have something like an Allen charge and apparently jury charges like this are "discouraged" but not outright forbidden.

The fact the note asked for every single one of the in question bits of evidence is uh... a slight problem. It was after the bout with the attorneys, but the Defense will know of this and it will feature in any of the motions we don't get to see.

The prosecution's tactic was to confuse the jurors about the legal requirements of self-defense and act like their photo of bigfoot clearly shows Kyle's guilt. The jury requesting the instructions on self defense and the shitty video evidence means they are confused about the prosecution's argument and will probably see through it.
