Good point. In civil cases, the form instructions are routinely "customized" but that doesn't seem to be the case in crim. Still, as others have pointed out, they're not supposed to be working on the case (so to speak) outside the jury room, so this makes little sense except via conspiracy theory (judge is hoping bitch fucks up and provides him with a basis to boot her).
