Marc Randazza made this exact point. Paraphrasing: "all this slimy shit the prosecutors are trying, this is what they do when all eyes are on them. Imagine what they get away with when the world isn't watching."
If blm actually believed in any of their police reform rhetoeric they would be putting out a "see this is what do to black people all the time!" Style of argument.

But they dont and arent so you know its all about power and having their turn to step on someone.

I knew before this trial prosecutors were slimy fucks that didn't have much to fear in the way of punishment. But because of this trial I started looking deeper, and Holy fucking shit, is it depressing just how little they have to worry about for violating the law. Like I knew it was bad, but I didn't realize it was THAT bad.

Idk, I think the fact that the left lied about him, and demonized him throughout all of this will actually push Kyle further right. If he gets off, he may end up as some cringey Fox news contributor or right-wing twitter personality
I know Nick Sandmann became a right wing pundit.

I don't think Kyle will though. He seemed to want to become a police officer, but conduct of the state has likely poisoned his view on the matter.

I'm gonna try to be a little charitable to Grandpa Judge. I think he genuinely believes that juries should handle it, not because he's afraid, but because that's how his sense of justice operates. Be tried and judged by a jury of your peers.
And I don't disagree with him on that, but another key component of justice is a fair trial. You can't just allow blatant misconduct at every turn, throw it over to a jury, and then say "well, let them sort it out".

Even if they get the right answer this time, going through the process badly is just as harmful.

The thing with Judge Grandpa is that he always takes a very strong stance when the prosecution's fuckery reflects their low opinion of him - not acknowledging his previous order not to discuss propensity evidence, ignoring basic procedures that all judges need respected in their courtroom, etc. That's when he turns into the BRAZENRY version of himself. When the prosecution fucks with Kyle's case in a way that doesn't reflect low regard for him personally, or when looking into their fuckery would make him look bad for letting the jury see tainted evidence to begin with, he is a fucking carebear. You can do whatever you want in his courtroom, just as long as you remember to jerk him off at all times.

Anyway that's the conclusion I reached tonight in my actual fucking sleep. Now to go touch grass.

Judging by the panic attack and him nearly spewing on the stand, he's gonna go hide.

Not sure if true, but I've heard he wanted to study nursing. I wonder if any university would even accept him, or if they'd fear the backlash.

do you know, what's the problem with you guys? you clutch at EVERY single straw like it's some divine revelation
some of you bought into the media narrative that the judge is your side. he was previously doing his job as he is doing now. that's it
giving a cropped video with a plausible excuse is NOT equal to withholding evidence. the audacity of demanding mistrial over that lol
along with the justice, a judge has to give the appearance of justice. he won't throw away cases over stray remarks made during examination
as to jury, I'll repeat what i said on the day 1. shorter deliberations- NG. anything else - hung jury. no body is changing their mind now if they didn't earlier. and the deadlock is over some minor charge, not murder
and since the jury was so desperate to take the instructions home, we're getting the verdict the next day
they should marry

G would always try to get exhibits to convince the NGs whether they were 11 or 1. How does this indicate the number?
I leave for a few hours and theres so many new pages.

My guess of the numbers is pure cope. Even though it's clown world, I'm not taking the blackpill. After sitting through that whole trial, there's no way a majority of jurors still think he didn't act in self-defense. If it turns out the holdout is NG, it's time to join the circus.

If this case wasn't so political, both sides could come out and rally against corruption of those in power and advocate for those wrongly convicted. Highlight the injustices done to many inmates. There's no way these slimy tactics are employed by just these 2 clowns.

But instead guilty believers excuse the prosecutors behavior because they're on the same side. Honk honk (:_(

Honestly, I really think the Judge went soft because the Prosecution went full snake after evidence closed, he seems to me like he doesn't want fuck with the system when it's already in the Jury's hands, he's being a irresponsible but I don't blame him for having a 'Jesus take the wheel' approach to this considering how many eyes are on him.

i think its likely he'll declare mistrial with prejudice if its not an acquittal.

Many long deliberations (multiple days) end in Not Guilty. Hung jury is very likely, but my gut tells me at this point it won't happen.

The hopeful side of me thinks going over that drone video was a way to double check the prosecutions argument about it, because they were leaning not guilty and wanted to be sure there wasn't a bombshell there.

The judge had numerous occasions before it went to jury that should have mandated a dismissal with prejudice. He yelled and grumbled and did nothing more. He wanted it to go to jury and damn the consequences.
