Because this is the closest this admin has gotten to actually passing something on their agenda. The infrastructure bill was an agenda win I guess but uh... it didn't do anything major. RINOs got paid and the election ratings for Democrats did not change. In my opinion BBB will be their first official legislative win, if that passes.

Quick google search shows how guys like Jon Oliver have talked about it and probably are promoting free daycare for a mystery group as being infrastructure or help for all America. Feels similar to the phenomena that occurred with the "Green Energy Corps" bill where Democrats felt like it sounded like a nice idea while having no idea what it actually meant. In the case of the Green Energy Corps it meant paying people near minimum wage to live on 'campuses' where they'd help transition America to green energy by going door to door to tell people about the virtues of green energy while giving grants to corporations that do stuff like solar panels to install them (so a major selling point that it'd mean training people for future jobs was a complete lie).
With BBB there's a lot of stuff that sounds nice on the surface, people don't typically ask questions about why Democrats want to stuff things like SALT deductions into BBB which would just be major tax cuts for the rich or aid in blue states being freeloaders.
