Nah not at all, you can make good money selling them at conventions in big cities or on Etsy if you wanna ship elsewhere. The hardest part is keeping up with production, especially if you're concerned with putting out a good product, but if you're just pumping out unpainted models/props it's a fairly good earner for little effort.

Wouldn't wanna make a career out of it, personally, but since Chibi's already fucked it he's not gonna have the choice one way or another.
 
This is why you need to read the handy little book that comes with your machine, Chibs. We know you think it's funny when Arin Hanson does it in a video game, but the only consequence there is a game over, not the loss of $500+.

3D printing is ridiculously easy. There's only like 3 things you can do wrong, and that's assemble it wrong in the first place (seems like he has it up and running for the most part, besides getting a successful print, so I don't think it's that), set the temperature wrong, or not have a level bed. You have to be a fucking idiot to set the temperature wrong but I wouldn't put it past him especially since his nozzle is clogging up. But he almost definitely doesn't know how to level his bed properly and it's going to take him forever to figure out

Looks to me like he got a Creality CR-6.
The guy on his discord mentioned the he "probably still got ABS in his nozzle". That would explain the clog if Chibi indeed used ABS first and switched to PLA.
ABS filament needs a higher temperature to melt compared to PLA. So he probably tried ABS first, changed Filament types, but didn't purge the ABS remains from the nozzle before loading PLA.
Also, getting a bigger nozzle costs you like a dollar or two.
