He seems to be taking to Jail quite well too so he hasn't got the incentive most people have and that's getting out of incarceration as fast as they can to get back to there real life, if anything other than possibly missing his toys he's not shown much distress at the situation.

On one hand I'm glad he's away from Barb and His stuff for the first time in decades but he honestly seems to be enjoying it, or at least not outright hating it enough to give it more than a passing mention in his letters we have seen so far but I am guessing that is a result of him being in Isolation or Protective Custody and if he was in the jail or prison system proper I can see that changing.

His lifestyle hasn't changed much, apart from not having his toys. He has always lived the same way he is now. Isolation chamber isn't that much different from his cluster fuck of a hoarders room.

Sooner or later though, he will get bored and he would want to get out. Chris needs the constant validation from his leeches and parasites. Letter from and to his prison may not cut it.

As for his admission of guilt, I think Chris will take the best offer he can get.....provided that he can return to his house...with barb.

Keeping Chris in Jail long enough so that when he's sentenced he has a lengthy time-served credit and can start transitioning back into the world. Not really. It's a *certain* win, but it will involve a lot of unique bullshit documentation. Prosecutors like easy wins that are also less paperwork. They have "favorite" codes that they can basically just prosecute on autopilot. For really common crimes they have fill-in-the-blank boilerplate to make it easy. They generally hate weird crimes or weird circumstances. My guess is that most of the incest cases they've handled involved minors. You can joke about it being a rural county haha hillbilly incest must be common, but it's also a low population county (<20k) so there's just not that much crime going on to begin with. They might not have prosecuted an adult incest case in a decade.

Most of these type programs have a fixed time limit. They will help the retarded inmate find transitional housing and keep an eye on them for 6 months to a year. After which they pretty much all become Morlocks.

If Chris gets off with time Served he wont even get that as he's been in county jail and has never officially entered the prison system to then be discharged from. And if county jails had to give a shit about homeless retards they would quickly go bankrupt.

I don't wanna go off topic too much so I'll just let it be after this, but even with Canada, the refugee/asylum seeker programs are strict as well. You have to go through a number of medical exams, biometric tests, biographic checks, a litany of security checks. If the CBSA/RCMP see green checks on everything, they'll make you a permanent resident. You have to keep your nose exceptionally clean for years after that and hold employment.

Since we're a country that's generally accepting of people coming here, people think it's generally easy to do so. Contrary to that, it's one of the hardest places to get into. Chris would red flag their systems immediately and he'd never even make it across the border with his pending criminal charge.

I disagree, honestly. What has Barb done for him in years? Chris has driven himself around for years. He's bought his own food(as shitty as it is) for years. I think it's safe to say he probably handles his own bank account and his phone plan and shit, since Barb can't even complete a sentence much less talk to an AT&T(or whoever Chris has) representative.

People act like Chris is a completely incompetent blabbering mess who never leaves the house and has to be spoonfed. He's only like, half of those things.

The reality is that Chris can feed himself. He can drive himself around. He can look after himself. Do you really think trolls will leave Chris alone after all this? He'll still have enablers. He'll still have people willing to buy shitty medallions.

You may have hit on a half-truth, but that's all. Chris is capable, on the most rudimentary level, of making microwave meals and scarfing down fast food. He can drive, albeit pretty poorly from most accounts. But can he complete paperwork, especially involved material? What about his record on personal hygiene? He's notorious for both acrid body odour and DIRTY, CRAPPED BRIEFS. He's proven himself incapable of holding down even the most basic of jobs for more than a couple of months at the very most.

He can look after himself on a purely selfish level, as long as nothing comes along to complicate matters for him. Of course he's not completely incompetent, but he's a long way from what I'd consider self-sufficient.
