Five counts of first degree reckless homicide is basically going to be life. There’s no mitigating circumstances, he’s a repeat offender, he’s hit people with his car before. I’d expect a sentence of 20 to 30 years minimum on each count, non-concurrently served.

Normally, I would disagree with the notion of using such a red herring to connect life with crimes.

The proposed narrative is the knife fight took place only a few blocks from the parade. There's no way homeboy drove well over 20 minutes to the parade and was still shaken from the fight. That's plenty of time to cool down and not run over a bunch of white kids and elderly people.

Police don’t sound their sirens when at a parade and if it’s a big enough event just have them flashing. He honestly might have seen a cop with lights on and thought it was a blockade for him and decided to run it not even realizing what he was going down.

I think everyone in this thread speculating about the crime is exceptional and this is the type of person who will speak his true intentions in a court of law. Wasn't he being charged with attempted murder by running over someone with his car? These people who make it easier for criminals to evade justice are partially responsible for this. She hadn't heard a single word. No one in her circle posted anything about it on social media, not one of the default news ads on her phone mentioned anything about it. Nothing.

She was getting updates about Rittenhouse through the grapevine on the daily for the past week, but somehow this manages to fly under the radar.

While plausible I don’t see it as likely. Same reason I don’t consider the Arbery shooters having shot him as being a racially motivated crime. I think those two were fucktarded enough to chase down anyone like that and play cowboy. By all means, I consider it possible but until there’s concrete evidence for that outside of shitty Facebook memes then I’m going to put it lower in my list of possibilities. It’s rarely ever race as the key motivating factor in an event like this.
