Wait, so he bought the 3D printer on a whim, with no idea what he wanted it for? I thought the entire point was he was gonna make cheap tat to sell to people dumber than him, but apparently this is only now occurring to him.
I cannot understand how this guy's mind works. Even those of a white trash wealthy mindset usually know why they want the shit they waste money on.

Today marks a month since he got his $3100 gaming PC. In that time he has streamed twice (two weeks ago). Both times were Mario Party games. Idk if on discord he's talking about all the modern games he's been playing, but I doubt he's done much with it aside from the same KH Randomizer bullshit and modding Sans into a mario party game. Also makes it funny he freaked the fuck out about the whole Streamlabs OBS thing for 2 seconds

Disney's entire schtick at it's park is for making it magical. That means only their actors and kids are allowed to dress up- even if it's not Disney related. Because no matter how good a cosplay is, it will ruin the magic for kids and families. Kids will no longer view those actors as the characters, just other people in costume, for example. Disney has poured a shitton of psychology research into how it does business- and they're not about to let some sperg ruin a multi-million dollar revenue with a plastic wig and a styrofoam key.
Absolutely a scam. Even though it's pleather, the cost of material alone would exceed the $100 price tag.

Of course he doesn't understand that taking a design like that from a computer game and making it real is going to be difficult. Even as somebody who never sewed anything more than a button on my shirt can tell you that trying to backwards engineer something like this is extremely tricky.
My first thought is that it's a security measure. I'm imagining fully costumed random weirdos roaming the park waiting for kids to take pictures with them and then asking the kids to take "special pictures" in the bathroom.

It really went no further in his head than that tweet of him saying "I watched a few videos of 3d Printing and I think I want to try it"
He bought the printer to try it - he saw a toy and wanted to play with it. He had the money, so that covered the "should" and "why."
That impulsiveness is behind everything he's sunk money into or deemed a new life goal, this doesn't really feel any different.
He can't just see something cool and appreciate it or just spend time being a fan, but has to jump into the deep end of it and have it himself immediately.
It's too bad those enablers on discord can't show him cheap little paludarium and terrarium build videos or something like that when he starts looking over expensive pcs, game design and mics and 3d printers, since it would probably distract him long enough to go "oh this is cool, so I have to try this now" and just buy a 30 dollar fish tank instead but there's really no hope if he doesn't have some self restraint on his own by now anyway.
Please god let him. Shlubs buying anime clothes made for mannequins out of dog hair and leper skin always had great results.

I'm still catching up on this thread, about page 41, but I feel the need to say this by far the most suspenseful lolcow thread I've ever read. It's something like less than 10pages a year for the first 4+ years. There's still almost 200 pages to go and the time frame to cover those pages keeps shrinking. I've been anticipating whatever cataclysm happens for 20 pages now, but it just keeps trucking along with the same mundane cycles. I've never been so giddy to see someone's life go nuclear.

I can't remember when was the last time he mentioned meds only that he changed too some new therapy and nothing came out of it. He was mentioning somewhere he changed therapists (and maybe meds too not sure) but nobody can help him. Nothing surprising.
