Alot of Religious people I know hate rinos even the ones they used to surpport like Mccain and Romney. It doesn't effect races, but signals the general attitude of the country towards one party or another. The generic ballot is basically "if you were to vote for a Generic Republican or a Generic Democrat, who would you vote for"?

Individual polling is always superior, but a shift in the generic Ballot indicates how many seats might be in play.

I'm genuinely starting to buy into the idea that the cathedral genuinely want us to own nothing. Mormons aren't christians, so getting evangelicals to vote for romney for his religious background is a hardsell. A quick read of the article and search on Google Maps would tell you Samsung already has a mfg plant on the outskirts of Austin TX, and Taylor is an outer suburb of Austin. They're just building additional capacity in the area on cheaper land, they aren't boosting up a small community in rural Texas.
