One of the things that I find somewhat humorous about Kevin's takes is how childlike they are. There are so many things wrong with his understanding of the world it's almost somewhat funny, if not terrifying. First of all, somehow Kevin believes that a poor economy is caused by rich people physically hoarding too much money and not spending it. And not due to things like housing bubbles or defaulting on bad loans on mass.
Kevin, I don't think Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk have bank vaults like Scrooge McDuck where they bathe in money. Net worth is a measure of someone's total assets, including all their stock, investments and properties they own. It's not like your PayPal account where you can take it all out to buy toys on a whim. The money is still being moved through the economy because it's still being loaned to other people to do business with.
Unless you're eating Transformers you aren't using that money to eat. It's ironic that you say rich assholes are trying to win a meaningless contest of how much money they can hoard when you're pointlessly trying to see how many toys you can hoard yourself. While giving Bezos more money while you do so.
