Georgia 'LYNCHING' citizen fatally shoots unarmed black man ... Video Emerges, Grand Jury to Convene

The fatal shooting of Ahmaud Arbery -- a 25-year-old black man out for a jog when he was chased and killed -- was caught on video, prompting a call for a grand jury to review the case.

Arbery's death is being referred to as a modern-day lynching, as he was unarmed when he was gunned down in Brunswick, GA on February 23 by a white citizen named Travis McMichael ... who has not been arrested or charged. He also happens to be the son of a former district attorney investigator.

As you can see in the video, Arbery was jogging when he was stopped by McMichael and his father in a white pickup truck. McMichael was armed with a shotgun. Arbery appears to attempt to run around the truck before he and McMichael start grappling.

After at least 2 shots, the men continued struggling over the gun ... until Arbery stumbles away, shot in the mid-section, and then collapses to the ground. He was later pronounced dead.

McMichael has not been charged in the shooting ... reportedly because he and his father, who was in the back of the truck, claim they were trying to make a citizen's arrest. They claim Ahmaud fit the description of a suspect in a string of recent break-ins in the area.

After the emergence of the video, D.A. Pro Tempore Tom Durden has decided the case "should be presented to the grand jury of Glynn County for consideration of criminal charges against those involved in the death of Mr. Arbery.”

Ahmaud's family says the use of deadly force was unnecessary.

Here's the statement from the district attorney who was brought in to oversee the case and decide how and whether the case should be prosecuted.

Attorney Lee Merritt, who represents Arberys mother, claims "The series of events captured in this video confirm what all the evidence indicated prior to its release— Ahmaud Arbery was pursued by three white men that targeted him solely because of his race and murdered him..."

That's not the only thing he stole from that area. Once again, he'd had the cops called on him multiple times but the donut eaters did nothing.
Yea we know, he trolled construction sites for shit worth a few dollars at most. Before I decided it wasn't for me I worked patrol. If I brought a report in saying someone stole $5 worth of useless shit my supervisor would laugh at me and toss it. It's insane to expect officers to show up for this kind of shit. No one cares not even the victims.

It's not a fucking Jewish conspiracy that police don't want to waste time and taxpayer money investigating the theft of literal garbage when there's rapes and murders going on.

Yeah and the former is going to break our justice system, party lines, race lines, "what the media says is right". Its going to become less dangerous to shoot and shut up then to actually use the justice system for its intended purpose even if you are %100 in the right.

I'm amazed at the insane number of charges that were levied, and almost all stuck. Life without parole or DP is on the table for sentencing with this one.
Sadly for all of us, the death penalty isn’t on the table, as they avoided the requirements under Georgia law to meet the qualifications for capital punishment.

Nah dude, I should totally be able to light a nigger up if I heard he stole some gas station sunglasses.

You can’t claim self defense in the course of a felony act. They committed aggravated assault, and false imprisonment, as they had no legal justification to detain him - he hadn’t taken anything and they hadn’t seen him take anything. He hadn’t done anything threatening towards them. Arbery had no legal obligation to stop. When they try and detain him, they are the ones committing a crime and Arbery is well within his right to self defense to attempt to disarm an assailant threatening his life.

The only one with a chance at appeal is Roddie, and that’s entirely on his absolutely atrocious choices in legal representation.
>he hadn’t taken anything
This is objectively false. You can see the hammer he dropped in the video.

Citizens' arrests are ostensibly legal.

That's even fucking worse if that's the case. They grabbed a gun and ran down a guy in a truck because he looked vaguely suspicious?
IIRC they'd been watching surveillance footage of someone breaking into the construction site and stealing tools, staked it out and saw Arbery jogging in there that day and decided 'That's him! Git 'em!' and decided to chase after him in the most retarded way possible.

They never detained him. He attacked them before they had the chance to even try. How do you imprison someone in the middle of a road? When did these things happen in your mind?

The police had spent the past 2 weeks going house to house with Arbery's picture, asking about him, because he was wanted by the police for robbery.

The jury has decided that the victim, is indeed, a jogger.
That was also what the community knew him as.
Like pretending to jog, then robbing a store and running away as fast as he could.
He was called "The Jogger" before "jogger" became an internet nickname for blacks who live a criminal lifestyle.

Two separate prosecutors dropped the case because there was no case there. They're now getting slammed because they actually did what prosecutors are legally supposed to do.
Just because I’m not letting you slip on your bullshit, she declined to prosecute the first time due to personal connections, then in her recusal assigned another prosecutor with connections to the McMicheals to review it, knowing that he should also recuse. She sought assistance from the other prosecutor on this case before assigning him to it too. It’s clear misconduct and conflict of interest.

It’s like watching two retards fight each other. I mean, it’s sad and terrible… Yet somehow, beautiful in nature as one guy with cerebral palsy chick-wing slaps a drooling moron with downs.

The only real winners is the audience.

Yeah no, you've already out and out lied about this case with regards to "nothing was stolen," so you're not going to be calling anyone on their "bullshit." The rest of this is just "muh racist wh*te prosecutor!" screeching. Any prosecutor in that area was going to have at least some connection because one of the accused was a former police officer.

You know that's a doctored image spread around by some troll from /pol/ right?
Someone believing everything they see on the internet. Imagine my shock ig
It’s one of two items clearly visible on the road in the video, both of which appear to have been dropped by Arbery as he was fleeing.

Damn bro, nigger stole a hammer?! Better kill him before he does it again!
Twitter loves that kind of dishonest reasoning, you should post there for extra good-boy headpats.

Once again, Arbery was known in the area to be a habitual prowler, thief and trespasser who was implicated in the theft of several firearms, among other things, from that same area.
The McMichaels, having identified him as being likely engaged in the course of another burglary, were entirely within their rights to attempt to detain him and to do so while armed.
There is significant evidence that they caught him red-handed in the commission of yet another crime, and also a distinct possibility that he may have been armed, whether with a worksite tool he‘d just stolen or a firearm.
Lastly it was not the McMichaels who initiated violence, that was Arbery himself.
The McMichaels are political prisoners who have been convicted for nothing more than wanting to protect their property and persons from a violent serial criminal. I’m actually saddened by this outcome, not on the behalf of the McMichaels, but on the behalf of every person in that state that has now lost their ability to protect themselves from feral apes.

I hope these shitheads really are subjected to Mutt's Law and get assraped daily. Eat shit, you bloodthirsty faggots.
I remember back in the day regarding the Penn State molestations/man-on-man rape, that some poster on this forum I think said “I hope that dude gets zip tied to the cell bars bent over so people have easy access to his mouth and ass.” And my thought is the same back then as it is now “You gay, lol“

False imprisonment stuck? I was of the understanding that false imprisonment requires a much higher bar than what they did, like literally offering no means of escape.
surrounded by guys with guns

the yokels were convicted because they admitted theh didnt know he stole anything when they detained him.

Ahmaud Arbery committed "suicide by redneck" by charging a crazy white man with a gun rather than wait patiently for police to arrive and get all of this sorted out.

I haven't paid enough attention to the details of the case to say whether I mean that sarcastically.

are you going to wait around for the cops when some stuck up bitch tries to detain you for her bullshit?

no you aren't. its not reasonable to stop because someone demand you to. i hope this scares the karens and karenishas from pulling their bullshit.
