US Joe Biden News Megathread - The Other Biden Derangement Syndrome Thread (with a side order of Fauci Derangement Syndrome)

Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

It's a very deep rabbit ole. LBJ's 'great society' screwed a lot of shit over. He was the start of the student loan crisis and college becoming unaffordable without racking up massive amounts of debt, and his signiing of the Hart-Cellar Act irreparably damaged the demographics of the communities in the US as suddenyl random third worlders became the preferred group to immigrate here.
I'm curious if anyone predicted the negative effects at the time. Don't know too much about the period.

"I'll have those niggers voting Democratic for 200 years." ~President Lyndon Johnson.

LBJ was a master opportunist with a good head on his shoulder for planning out consequences. It was entirely on purpose.

I'm not incel I promise.
That red pill rage is real though.

And while /his/ would say he's the "greatest president," Franklin Delano Roosevelt was the main locus of this chain of events.

And thanks to him, the 22nd Amendment, in my opinion, is the one worst additions to the Constitution ever made. I feel as we're still turning FDR's 3-term coasting of a presidency around to no avail however, because the man simply did so much in 12 years.

Happy Thanksgiving, Kiwis. Stop doomscrolling for one day, and tire yourselves out with some dry bird and greens.

The media lies so often that I think they are like one of those people that don't even realize that they lie all the time.

I'm more shocked when the media tells the truth at this point.
It's why I like A&N as a source of news, if they want to outrage bait so badly, then fine. But it literally will not effect the rest of my life. Dumbfucks.

The fun part is this disregard for news is rising, because everyone now knows these assholes are just cpying shit from twitter or instagram.

I found these articles pretty interesting for very different reasons. It really seems like the biggest contributor to how awkward dating and relationships are is the changing social landscape.
That article about how much men care about sex said:
That’s because many men are now experiencing post-traumatic growth from COVID and are focusing toward “prioritizing well being” along with furthering emotional maturity, Fisher said...

Much of that has come from men becoming more well-rounded, according to the research. The study found that 72 percent of Gen Z and 69 percent of millennials began taking up new hobbies during the pandemic, while 69 percent of Gen Z boasted that they made significant career strides.

Plus, men are “better at relaxing, they’re getting more sleep, they’re gaining self-confidence,” said Fisher. “They really are finding other avenues — besides sex — for intellectual growth.”
It could potentially be because of Chad Thundercock, yeah. But the takeaway I get from this is, why risk your health for something that might not work out? Why not just focus on improving yourself for your sake? Doomscrolling has its appeals, but hearing that men are doing their best to live the best life they can and better themselves (as compared to lying down and expecting to be unemployed/alone for the rest of their lives) just gives me hope.

Thank you for linking those articles! They were interesting and kind of inspiring.

Watching the Macy's Thansgiving Parade and seeing everyone wearing masks is oddly painful. Santa isn't wearing one but probably only because they couldn't fit it over the fake beard. Remember, it's Biden's fault now

Also no one singing on the floats. Thanks alot Biden you ruin holidays.
This one (of 1000 things) isn't on Biden, at least directly. It's on New York State itself: basically all the employees are still under mask mandates.

I live in upstate, and it's jarring here because all of the employees have to wear masks, but almost none of the customers save a few are wearing masks any more.

I only caught a couple 5-second glimpses of the parade, but from what I saw everyone IN the parade had a mask and damn near nobody in the crowd had one on.

I've in upstate New York for some reason it didn't dawn on me until you brought it up. Your right for some reasons worker's still wear masks even cashiers.

Yeah, from what I can tell, that fucking bitch Hochul signed the "NY Hero Act".

Keep in mind, this is SEPTEMBER 2021. So three months ago. And she basically declared, again September 2021, that COVID is an "airborne infectous disease" and all retail workers have to wear masks regardless of vaccination status.

I mean, I see language that says "recommended but not required", but I have not seen a retail worker not wearing a mask in 18 months, so that tells me that it's mandatory and I can't just find the clause in the documentation wherever.

We're already starting to see the "men opt out of college; women most affected" memes.

It's hilarious watching women with useless communications degrees say they "deserve better" than a plumber making $75K/year. "He's not intellectually on my level."

Women are now 60% of the college enrollments, so of course that is bad because the 40% of men now "get to be choosy" about who they date. And let's be real, women aren't going for all of those guys, they are going for the best of the best. If you are a slightly above average guy in every way: 5'11, $70K/year office job, decent looking face but not handsome, not overweight but not ripped - then women WILL NOT DATE you. At least until they hit the wall and it's time to "settle down".

So yeah, every woman is chasing the same Top 1% of men, so those men are not settling down because they don't have to, then the women complain that all men are dogs and that the women "shouldn't have to settle" when they refuse to look at the other 80% of men. And those 80% of men are noticing: a recent survey showed 81% of men are less interested in sex than pre-COVID. The "bottom 80%" of men are just opting out of dating entirely, and women are getting mad that their security blankets are going away.

TL;DR - I'm not incel I promise. Women are going to college more and then mad that there are less top men to go around because they won't even date above average guys.

I want to be happy about this news but the rat experiment with the Pretty Ones keeps popping in my head.

Oh well. Sucks to suck.

They assume that everyone will have to go through college to get anywhere, but the internet has already started to seriously deconstruct the value of higher education as information becomes more and more free.

Speaking from experience, this is much more true than you'd think. I got my CCNA just from writing down notes for this website and taking practice exams online.
How convenient that the release of the data will be when the people who've suffered from these "vaccines" are either dead, or dying in old age. Really activates the old almonds.
So, what are all the American's doing for thanksgiving in here? Let us consider some happier thoughts for a bit, it's good for the soul.
Spending it with mom, grandma, and maybe a few other family members as well (little sis couldn't make it, unfortunately, due to reasons way too power-level to say here)

Edit: little sis made it after all. :lol:Sometimes you gotta appreciate the small blessings. Unfortunately, no other family members made it, so it's just me, mom, grandma and little sis

We're all cooking and catching up, wrangling kids, having a good time. I'm phoneposting in the lulls when I get slightly overwhelmed by the joy and positivity.
Remember, the most precious possession you have in the world is your own people!

Should setup something my religious community does. We donate leftover turkey and other foods that can reheat or be reused well to a local shelter. Letting the homeless have a taste of homecooked food around the holidays.
