And this statement from Israel:

"Israel Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said on Friday that the country is “on the threshold of an emergency situation” after it detected its first case of omicron, the new South African strain of coronavirus.

"The Israeli Health Ministry said it detected the new strain in a traveler who had returned from Malawi, and that it is investigating two other suspected cases, The Associated Press reported.

"Bennett said the new variant is more contagious and spreads more rapidly than the delta variant. He added that authorities are still gathering data on how effective the coronavirus vaccines will be against the variant."

I ask you all , how could this twat know from just 2 cases that it spreads more rapidly?

Honestly, the bullshit piles up so fast with this.
It's a safe bet though. Viruses generally get more virulent and less deadly.

Well, some big heads want to keep the news about Japan and Ivermectin secret. I smell some Fraudci and Pfizer who could be involved as well.
Well this is horseshit anyways because Japan never has had a covid problem. their "waves" followed everybody else's wave pretty much; just scaled down several orders of magnitude.

You will find no correlation between the use of Ivermectin and the case count.

Inshallah, vaxxtards and vaggots all over the Western world will suffer from the Omicron for surrendering their immune system to sinister corporations. Unfortunately, I count among them because I totally got the vaccine for real and definitely didn't bribe someone at the pharmacy to fake the shot. I hope my last months on this Earth won't be too tainted with heart problems and having to live with the stamina of a 90 year old cancer patient, like some of my fellow vaxxies.

I'd be more prepared to believe them if the OG coof hadn't already been more contagious and deadly than any other thing. Then Delta was new and definitely more contagious and more deadly. I'm beginning to think that medical officers just enjoy saying contagious and deadly.

Apparently there is a letter in the Greek alphabet that was skipped over as the WHO went from Nu to Omicron. I'm sure there is no particular reason why for that.

It won't be long before we witness the sigma corona grindset
The French and Russian revolutions were controlled by the Freemasons (read: Illumined Sabbateans), the same Masonic branch in fact. The American too.
You'll also notice a very common theme among the leaders of the German 1918 revolution. You'll scratch your head and wonder how Biden's cabinet could have possibly also been a part of something that took part a century ago.

It's a safe bet though. Viruses generally get more virulent and less deadly.
Unless of course said virus is needed as an excuse to bring in more tyranny. In which case, it magically gets deadlier with every single mutation (and the omicron variant has 30 of them!! That's so heckin scary!)

Travel bans are bad mmkay. Theres some seriously stupid twitter takes in that article

I found this article in the NYT to raise my eyebrow.

How is it that an anti depression drug (Fluvoxamine) has almost identical clinical success as molnupiravir; and yet in all the studies done of Fluvoxamine, it was never realized once that a side effect was the ability to reduce respiratory infections?

Is anyone else here unsurprised that a substantial side effect of an anti-depressant was entirely missed?

::::::

"The pharmaceutical company Merck said on Friday that in a final analysis of a clinical trial, its antiviral pill reduced the risk of hospitalization and death among high-risk Covid patients by 30 percent, down from an earlier estimate of 50 percent.

"The lower efficacy is a disappointment for the drug, known as molnupiravir, which health officials around the world are counting on as a critical tool to save lives and reduce the burden on hospitals. It increases the importance of a similar, apparently more effective, offering from Pfizer that is also under review by the Food and Drug Administration.

"A panel of advisers to the F.D.A. is set to meet on Tuesday to discuss Merck’s treatment and vote on whether to recommend authorizing it to treat high-risk Covid patients.

"In briefing documents posted to the F.D.A.’s website on Friday, agency reviewers did not take a position on whether the drug should be authorized, though they found that the clinical trial data did not show any major safety concerns and that the drug was effective in preventing severe disease.

The reviewers said they had only become aware of the updated efficacy estimate earlier this week and were still reviewing the data. They said they could update their assessment when the panel meets on Tuesday.

"Merck’s initial estimate that the drug reduced hospitalization and death by 50 percent came from an early look at results from 775 study participants. The updated figure announced on Friday came from more than 1,400. In the final analysis, the participants who received molnupiravir had a 6.8 percent risk of being hospitalized, and one patient died. Those who received a placebo had a 9.7 percent risk of being hospitalized, and nine died.

"Dr. David Boulware, an infectious disease researcher at the University of Minnesota, said he expected the drug would still receive emergency authorization. If the expert committee endorses it and the F.D.A. heeds the recommendation, the treatment could be authorized in the United States as soon as next week.

“The reduction in hospitalization is a little bit less, but there is still a big mortality benefit if you start early,” he said.

"Still, he said, molnupiravir will probably be deemed a lower-tier treatment, an alternative choice for people who can’t get or don’t want more effective treatments.

"Monoclonal antibody drugs, which are typically administered intravenously in the United States, have been found to reduce hospitalizations and deaths by at least 70 percent. Pfizer’s antiviral pill, Paxlovid, which was found in a clinical trial to cut the risk of hospitalization and death by 89 percent, could become available within weeks. Fluvoxamine, a common and inexpensive antidepressant, appears to be about as effective as molnupiravir."

I really believe that Biden's ultimate goal is to Balkanize the US.
That seems rather tyrannical, do you have something to say, media?
Media: idk how but I do know Trump was the real dictator

1. The U.S. Government is White Supremacist and Racist

OR

2. The U.S. Government has our best interests at heart

Pick one faggots.

"The masks prevent Covid"
or
"The vax prevents Covid"

Pick one faggots.

This situation is full of stuff like this, contradicting narratives that people refuse to adknowledge because it makes them look like a retard.

Its easier to dupe someone than convince them that they were duped.
Awww yiss, the new South Africa/Botswana variant is yielding some delicious fear porn. "Awful spike mutation", "faster than Delta", "REALLY REALLY CONCERNING".
So, are the Branch Covidians just gonna demand more boosters for everyone despite those antibodies probably being utterly useless, or will they just demand full lockdown for everyone?

Who am I kidding, they're already preparing for a "two weeks to flatten the curve" lockdown here, anyway. Current narrative: "It has always been clear that vaccines alone can't stop the pandemic, especially since Delta is so terrible".

Always told people to not expect this shit to end when the vaccines arrive, we gave the government power and they rarely let it go without blood being spilled. We fucked up already.
Eta: found this comment on the beebz, hope it makes you laugh like it did for me!Screenshot_20211126-104118_Brave.jpg

Following that logic, then a mandate is entirely unnecessary because tis clear that the number of already vaccinated people is enough to make a difference.

oh, but they will throw that its just "Not enough yet", the classic gaslight tactic.
Every time someone uses "mark of the beasterino" I suddenly worry if Chris isn't actually just an average guy.

Jews are bad enough without adding jew hocus pocus.

Chris: You see Im not a lolcow......Im just ahead of the curve.

Holy shit, can Tedros take the Chinese cock out of his mouth for literally 5 seconds? You'd think his jaw would have fallen off already from this level of servicing. "OH no no no gotta skip "Xi" in the Greek alphabet!, might confuse people!" Good fucking grief.

"If you cared about your family you wouldn't be at work!"

Tell me you're an unemployed disability leech without telling me you're an unemployed disability leech.
Keep paying taxes bro, I'm sure nothing bad will come of it,

In Melbourne all that swat gear the cops have ? That's not from taxes, right !? Taxes didn't pay for that ....

I guess the better question is, who do you believe pays for that swat gear !?

That is used too beat and attack regular civilians like me...who despite being disrespected ...are still fighting for you man..

While you hi-5 ! The government and they laugh in your face...and take your rights away...

Seriously worried the 'new variant' means we're back to square one. More lockdowns, more mask mandates, more stay at home orders, entirely new vaccine rollout.

I have a holiday booked in Sweden for January which will probably be cancelled too.

Don't think I can go through this again.
Going by how Italy has ramped up strictness of vaccine requirements (look up Italy green pass) and it appears France and Germany are also starting to follow suit, we probably are heading back to square one, and will continue to do so every year until people start doing something about it.

Spoke with the parental units. One amusing thing is when they call, they don't turn down their TV, because fuck you, they shouldn't have to stop watching TV to have a phone call with someone else, you'll just need to speak louder to be heard over the 7.2 surround sound system running at 75db, and get really good at picking their voices out of a crowd. While on a phone call. Guess I can't complain, since I'd rather communicate over text than phone anyway.

Well, as usual, it was the news this time. And yeah, they're in full panic mode. "Experts are saying this COVID variant can infiltrate the human body and modify human cells to create new copies of itself. And that it has, through selective pressure, found ways to avoid the defenses of the human body -- even the fully vaccinated human body -- has to prevent this."

... The coffee hasn't kicked in, but am I wrong in thinking that CNN or MSNPC or whatever bullshit they had on is literally scaring the Wuv Da Science crowd by describing the basic functions of virus reproduction?

"Might confuse people!" Yeah right, that's a way to not trigger Xi the pooh.

Everyone is going to lock down over this new variant aren't they? I can already see how the tone/messaging has shifted in less than a day. Travels bans starting and conversations about if we'll need lockdowns (the answer for these people is always yes).

I try not to be a doomer, but there really is no way out of this. I don't see one at this point.

From what I have seen, the "We love science!!!1" crowd don't even think their non-scientist brains could process this basic information. It is a great privilege that the news lords have decided your parents were capable of dealing with this terrible truth.

People, even ones who seem reasonable smart, find new ways to disappoint me every day.

Yes, it's easy for anyone to recognize this as normal viral replication we've dealt with as a species since the dawn of our existence. However, the average person hates thinking. It makes them uncomfortable. They would rather be preached at with what they are allowed to know, much like how the Catholic church would do all its sermons in latin, despite none of their flock speaking it. Then you can tell them what it means... and this basic bit of knowledge means fear the wrath of the devil, covidians!

The answer to ending this is to get people off their arses and cause problems for businesses and governments. They will continue this grift/social conditioning going for as long as they can. No no, all you need is more booster shots and lockdowns, it's the fault of the unvaccinated and until everyone does what we say, everyone has to be punished through greater restrictions. Yes, all those booster shots you took, completely useless against this new strain, so you need new shots, which will work this time, at least until it mutates again.

Until these groups get serious resistance, either through constant riots like you see in Australia, or through things that fedposters can only dream of, they will continue this yearly, and they will get away with it because most people engage in slave morality and let them get away with it. People will cosign more and more rights away because they either want to feel safe, they believe they are doing it for the greater good of the whole, or they feel threatened either in their job or social standing.
