Unfortunately your citizens dared to think that maybe they liked their country the way it was, rather than filled with patrolling pakis looking for unwilling women to rape, and wanted to retain sovereignty over its borders. Now the big bad EU has to teach you a lesson to scare the other sheep in line. These recent years are proof positive that any excessively centralized power in a federal government is shit. America is far from perfect, as you can tell from us having the same issue.
I've been mulling over this gigantic clusterfuck for some time and I've come up with some possible theories of my own. I don't really buy into the vaccines being intentionally used for mass depopulation, as I don't think Bill Gates would purposefully want to be stuck on a planet with the entire rest of the population that's still alive thirsting for his blood. What I could buy into is incompetence combined with malice.
Re conspiracies: a point that I don't think has been brought up yet, is that if the Great Reset is real, it doesn't require that the participants be infallible.
In regards to covid getting out: what if the Chinese government "accidentally" released the virus in order to kill off that part of the population which they would look at as leeches, aka the elderly/retired? You can't exactly go gunning down all the retired workers because the others may figure out that you'll do the same thing to them. But if they die of illness, well, that shit happens. I don't know if this is the case, but this possibility sounds reasonable to me because Xinnie is increasing his posturing in regards to taking back Taiwan. Economy might not collapse as hard with less pensions to pay out.
Downstream to us, my impression is that politicians, our current government, and organizations like the WHO, the WEF, and companies that are aligned with them like say Pfizer, are trying to take advantage of the now "pandemic" to institute their vision of a new world. The WEF themselves had stated that a complete economic collapse would be required to perform the Great Reset. Due to this fact, it seems to me like Biden's actions make a bit more sense in terms of what he's doing to the American economy. As you would expect in this scenario, they have plenty of opposition, which we can see in the world now, because if the world is ultimately anything, it's chaos, and there's no way to have that large of a group of people all in alignment, especially since they're all sharks that can smell blood in the water. If it seems like things are going wrong, they'll eat each other to make sure they individually survive. Their victory isn't guaranteed by any means, but it isn't stopping them from trying.
The reason I brought up competence earlier is another factor here. A lot of these people aren't as competent as they think. Case in point, the way the vaccines are turning out. Baric, Daszak, Fauci, Biden. They've spent too much time in their insular bubbles, along with all the elites. In fact, we haven't had a major upheaval in the west since post world war 2. They're content to hide data, lie, and pretend nothing is going on, because all they ever really see people as is numbers. I think I'd like to call it Antoinette attitude. With the economic troubles ahead, we may end up with our own version of the storming of Versailles after some figurehead makes a comment akin to "let them eat bread;" they've forgotten what a mass of angry people truly looks like.
As for the vaccines, the concept of hubris comes to mind. I love technology and science, but what they've done with the mRNA vaccines screams to me of children playing around with things they don't truly understand yet, and handwaving the possible consequences. Gene therapy is something that's still in its infancy, and yet we've injected a majority of the population with it, without telling them. I personally hope no consequences come from this, and I can't claim there will be any, though the data is starting to look slightly concerning.
At this point the institutions are more dangerous than the virus by far.
