I’ve never even heard this game and the fact that he had to buy this amount of copies for it makes me wonder if he has enough space to fit all of clothing and/or mini bedroom that he sleeps in
Alright, so, here's a quick rundown on what Sneak King even is:
It was one of three games that were released in 2006 ( coincidentally on the same day as the Wii) exclusively through Burger King restaurants, for $4 each. It was a pretty nice deal for the time. The Xbox 360 was just a year old, and here's a way to add three new games to your shelf for $12, when even the cheapest downloadable games were flash game-tier stuff, and old arcade games like Paperboy, for $5. So, they were reasonably popular, and even ran on the original Xbox, if you didn't have a 360 yet. (Also, they were the only games to actually have native versions for both consoles on the same disc)
Sneak King, specifically, tied in with the very successful "Creepy King" commercial series that was pretty popular at the time - it was one of those rare commercials that people would actually go out of their way to watch.
The game itself isn't very good. It's a Hitman clone, only, you play as the King, and you sneak up to people and surprise them with Burger King products. The other two games were Big Bumpin', a party game where you play as various Burger King mascots in bumper cars, and Pocketbike Racer, which is exactly what the title says it does. The best of the three is Pocketbike Racer, for being a halfway competent racing game, while Sneak King is fun for about 20 minutes by way of its absurdity alone. Big Bumpin' is just bad, and isn't interesting at all.
Sneak King was never a rare game in the least, and every single place that sold video games had stacks and stacks of them for years. They did eventually dry up, and probably mostly went to guys like him who decided to collect a whole lot of a single cheap game. Sneak King was by far the most common, but the other two weren't hard to find, either. I don't think they were ever released overseas, but, to any foreigners reading this, just look up a playthrough on YouTube. You're really not missing anything.
So, for the kind of person who thinks it's funny to buy a colossal amount of one cheap game, Sneak King's always been the most obvious pick. It's a comedy advertisement game, but the joke was over by the end of '06. And if you're gonna do that, at least be creative with it. Buy up a bunch of copies of:
and then take a paint marker to the cover and change the M to an F and leave it in all your friends' mailboxes and write them a note saying "Wow, I can't believe they made a video game about you!". The game's defunct and unplayable now, so it should be as cheap as it gets.
