I think it's well overdue for a compilation video of him saying "micro-analyzing". He thinks he's extra smart with this word.

He thinks he's extra smart when using "thus" while failing to use it properly so I think he thinks he's extra smart when remembering to breathe... (yes, late as Phil's reactions....)

That report was simply taking how much money the streamer made during a month and then dividing it by the amount of subs, I think.

So, since Phil doesn't have many subs but still has some whales bankrolling him, he ended up with a very inflated number.

Exactly my point, I apparently completely failed to make it clear though.

The point of the post was in regards to DSP earning more than pokeamange, I can see the reason for thinking so would be due to misremembering the report.

Thanks, thought I missed out on some lore. I wonder how long it will be until some poor paypig asks him why he calls it a podcast when he doesn't have guests or other people involved. want you kids to really sit there for a moment and consider just how superficially phil experiences video games. how he never actually gets to enjoy them to the extent they can be enjoyed.

what i mean by this is phil has played through all of skyrim and all of fallout 4. i did too. but now that i have a pretty good PC, i just bought both skyrim and fallout 4 on the steam sale, i never got to experience these games with mods. skyrim is the most modded game in the world, so playing it with mods is kinda the definitive experience and i never got that experience. so i'm fixin' that.

this is an experience phil will never have in his life due to his own lack of intelligence. really consider that, he spent over 100 hours in a video game, but will never actually get to truly experience that game.

This recent prestream cope is insane. It's not a podcast it's an hour long advertisement Phil just call it what it is. I've never seen any "content creator" do a one man podcast because nobody else is that much of a loser.

Last week he said that he never plays games off-stream unless his roommate needs him to complete a level that she can't.

He claims he hasn't played a video game away from the stream in years (mobile games are different King of Semantics or some shit). Still to be a "life long gamer" and to not enjoy games anymore it is just sad.

DSP has always been shit at games. He's always been dumb as hell. He's hated playing games for at least 6-7 years now. He's taken every opportunity over the past few years to play as few games as possible. The games he does play are walking simulators are Flight Simulator where he literally got paid to sit on his ass and reveal how little he knows about the world. The only game he plays off stream is one he needs to satisfy his now severe addiction to gambling and spending money. Like someone above said, he doesn't know how to mod games or enjoy them in any capacity beyond getting them over with.

We've always known the rambling/babbling he does for nearly an hour at the start of every gaming stream is a tactic to avoid actually playing the game. Calling it a podcast is just another nail in the coffin of anyone's belief that he enjoys his job, no matter what he says about how happy he is and how much he loves his job.

100% this. To add to that, even if Phil did take these approaches on fully experiencing a game, he would not remember it. This guy has done many playthroughs on games he’s gone through more than once and he remembers fuck all about them.
