Is anyone else on a mobile browser unable to open sub-dropdown menu items in the reply box? Its a minor inconvenience, but I can't delete drafts, create lists, etc. I noticed it a few days ago.

Are you in BBcode mode? Turn it off and the dropdowns should work.

Is this a bug or a feature or Brave being autistic?

Edit: To be clear I’m talking about the weird emoji in the thread title. It goes from a white… Thing (hence why I was zooming in) to what it’s supposed to be.

What, specifically? The “zooming” is a feature that browsers have had since the Netscape Navigator days, if that’s what you’re asking about.
Oh, sorry should of explained. No the emoji in the thread title goes from weird white thing to what it’s supposed to be. I was zooming in to see what the fuck it was and that happened.

That's a Unicode/font thing. The browser was using the text variation of the character at the small size and switched to the emoji variation of it at a larger size (probably because the color emoji would not scale down as well as the monochrome text variation does).

There are Unicode modifier code points, U+FE0E VARIATION SELECTOR-15 (text style) and U+FE0F VARIATION SELECTOR-16 (emoji style), that are supposed to direct the text rendering engine to render the preceding character as text or as an emoji, but in the absence of either modifier, it's typically left up to the rendering engine to decide which style is preferred. (And support for the modifiers isn't necessarily guaranteed either. Sometimes the modifiers do nothing.)

Color emoji were hacked into Unicode relatively recently, so weird stuff happens sometimes.

That glitch where all the ratings are available is back again

That glitch where all the ratings are available is back again
On the plus side now it pops up on profile posts as well which it normally does not.

BTW: did you guys know that profile posts can be rated both "Disagree" and "Respectfully Disagree, but I Still Love You"? That is not something new, I actually discovered that a while back, before the ratings menu started popping up on profile posts again.

I seem to be unable to edit the polls on my threads anymore. I cannot remove options, change the poll question or in general alter it in any way except close it or open it and add new options. I seem to recall this being different last time i opened the console.

I went to change to my Christmas avatar, but it now says the file type (png) is invalid.

I just got a name change rejected and while I don't have a problem with that, the reason given makes me curious: "Names are not seasonal". What does that mean?

I'd hazard a guess you did not have a good enough reason? According to this post there is only one situation where your request will be accepted.

#2: Never use the same name twice.
The most common mistake. The best way to deal with this, of course, is to not use the same username more than one place. Especially not here. If there's no way to link you back to a Facebook account or another place you might've used your real name, there's no threat. 90% of the time, this is how people fuck up.

The forum ordinarily does not change names, but in the extraordinary circumstance where: 1) your username links to your identity, and 2) you have not already made a fool of yourself, make a thread in Talk To Staff and we may resolve this for you.

This rule you quoted is outdated since you now are allowed to change your name yourself in the profile settings once a month, though staff has to approve the change, not sure why they didn't approve now since I changed my username a few times before.

I am unable to connect to kiwifarms.net while running a VPN. Once I disconnect, it connects normally. I can use kiwifarms.ru with VPN running though.

Don't say which one, but does it have a setting like ProtonVPN's NetShield? A lot of VPNs have an annoying feature like this that uses bad blacklists that sometimes include the Farms or other crypto sites. If it has something like that, turn it off.

I'm not seeing the public IP (172.67.15.225) on the blacklist at the moment, but VPNs with this poorly thought out feature aren't always using up to date info.

As AnOn said: you, as the customer, must complain loudly to these people. If you don't complain and threaten to drop them and badmouth them to everyone they will never change.

Thank you, that was it. It works now.

I have sent to them a complaint regarding a false positives on the website, hopefully there are non-trannies who decide what is and isn't malware. :optimistic::optimistic::optimistic::optimistic::optimistic::optimistic:though.
