Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

It's literally the only thing they have. Almost everyone sees the media/politicians as a fucking joke. It's why they are clamping down on "misinformation" posted online.
It -was- the only thing they had. They dipped under 50% approval for it a while ago.

And somehow its still their highest approval.

Less than a year from that being *literally* the only reason Joe got elected to underwater in terms of their handling of it.
I've been making jokes about Democrats repeating their 2009-era stumbling, but that looks competent and politically savvy compared to the last 10 months. Biden wasn't transparently planning his exit strategy while Lieberman contemplated changing parties in 2010. This is next-level bungling.

i just want to see the last power grab of packing the court & lost of the fillbuster.
a more surprising power move is removing section 230 .
i understand this all for the greater good for their society.
..........
Dude stop do you want to be dead after you leave the court house

Given there are more than a few rumors of those who worked for Epstein being allowed to 'sample the wares'... my vote is a -very- guilty conscience where he has decided life may not be worth living.

Bro they can't even bring back lockdowns amid media hysteria about the Omicron variant and Fauci being his usual retarded self because of how negative the polling is, dropping the filibuster and court-packing stopped being viable sometime in mid-May.

This was practically a lame-duck presidency pre-this year's election, which is mind-boggling. Not even 12 months before the wheels fell off the bandwagon.

Damn it Trump. We had the opportunity to slash and burn the establishment and your name just had to be on there.

Trumps been forthright for when he went on and Epstein's little black book corroborates. He was on once on a plane that -wasn't- the Lolita Express for a flight from California to New York.

...The fact that under Trump many black households saw an actual improvement in their life, then lost under Democrats, really does not help this.
Exactly. Dems showed their true colors to anyone who was paying attention (read: very few people).

While they were wailing and gnashing their teeth about HORRIBLE GIGANAZI TRUMP doing ICE raids on Tyson chicken farms, guess what happened after the ICE agents took away Tyson's migrant slaves? They had to hire the rural poor population Tyson had been fucking over by using slave labor, and that rural poor population had plenty of black families in it.

That's just one example of the blatant hypocrisy of the DNC, but it's easily overlooked if you aren't paying attention.

And that right there is exactly the kind of moves that will wreck them after the midterms. Republicans get in, Twitter becomes immensely vulnerable, and all it would take is one bad hearing and their money just mysteriously dries up.
I hadn't thought of what might happen if congress declared the big tech social media disinformation houses "publishers".

Would a deluge of lawsuits just crush them? That would be fun to watch.

Update on potential government shutdown scheduled to happen this Friday: House is expecting the text of a stopgap bill to prevent government shutdown to come in today. Sources say it will probably stave off the threat until the 2nd or 3rd week of January, and that they’ll probably put it up to a vote tomorrow.

The thing with these shutdown games is that this whole administration so far, Republicans have been refusing to allow the Dems to write their own spending bills, they are forced to simply extend the old budget to prevent a shutdown. We’re 11 months into Biden’s administration and we are still using a budget Trump wrote. The first opprotunity the Dems had to write their own budget was October (the beginning of fiscal year 2022) and that’s why all these games with edging a shutdown began around that time, but they’ve been cockblocked this entire time.

That’s why Republicans are disatisfied with the January date and want the extention to continue into February or March. It keeps the country on Trump’s budget longer. It makes life agonizing for Congress Dems, who are already fighting the Democrat Civil War. It stops Democrats from implementing spending bills. Fighting over things like the budget or the NDAA is becoming a favorite Republican tactic because every day Congress wastes fighting over trivial shit like this is a day Congress isn’t working on passing BBB.

Speaking of BBB: Schumer wants to have the House vote on BBB on December 13th. That’s not gonna stick.

Who gives a fuck about cultural marxists and all that boomer shit, just get off Twitter.

What is with all these right wing cucks still hanging onto Twitter and putting all their eggs in one basket on Twitter.

You will not save the AWFLs on Twitter from the commies and nor save America.
While I agree that there's a lot of reason for normies to not being on Twitter, at the same time the ONLY reason we know a lot about what happened in Afghanistan, or Antifa/Seattle, or Larry Elder getting egged by a white woman in a gorilla mask, or even the original Rittenhouse videos before they all got scrubbed, was because people were posting raw videos to Twitter. Hell, at one point I had a friend yell at me about I stupid I was for believing "raw journalism" over CNN who have "experience." So there is SOME good to some from Twitter in that narratives that would be ignored can be found (before they disappear of course.)

Kicking the can, kicking the can, meanwhile, the can keeps breaking their foot. All Republicans have to do is keep feeding them the rope to do it, and then just sit back and watch.

Ditto. Tweets are far too vague for my liking on whether the pilot is talking about Lolita Express or if he's talking about all of Epstein's planes in general.

Paired with Epstein's black book, a mix of the two. Clinton and Andrews were both frequent guests of the express, but Trump and Glenn only ever appear once from my recall on other planes.

From my understanding, they are broadcasting the trial by audio, and they weren't naming names of accused people (at least Ghislaine wasn't going to).
If they were going to describe people by their position rather than name, it could make sense for people with unique positions to clear out, in order to offer up some ambiguity.
After all "former CFO of Walmart" is less specific than "CFO of Walmart"...

Also, iirc, Chris Tucker is not *that* Chris Tucker.

Funny how they put that new rule of not recording "private individuals without their consent" just today, then.....

Will admit I’m not well educated on the topic but I have seen the Daily Mail claim he also once took Epstein’s plane on a flight between Palm Beach and Newark in 1997. But they do, at least, take care to tell the reader that Trump stopped associating with Epstein after he saw Epstein “hit on a young girl at Mar-a-Lago” in 2000.

I’ll admit to bias but the fact no source states the number of flights Trump took (which only seems to have been like, a couple in total) combined with the fact they would have strong incentives to hang out together simply because they’re both rich New Yorkers who own houses in Palm Beach, suggests to me Trump is just being smeared as a pedophile for the crime of not being innately good at detecting them.

Would like to see how Bill Clinton’s doing today.
