Transgender Action Block's only just turning one this month. Their highest profile thing so far was back in October when they protested outside the LGB Alliance conference. Part of it
is that the talking points are giving people pause, but mostly because it's a little baby in terms of activist groups and the market's pretty saturated.
For
example, there was a protest by 10 Downing Street in August by Trans Activism UK. You'll probably recognise the founders if you spend time in the Sideshow thread:

The ABDL is an FTM called Felix Fern (former trans rights consultant to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office!) and dangerhair is an autistic transbian called Laura Kate Dale. I'm not joking about that btw, Laura recently released a biography entitled "Uncomfortable Labels: My Life as a Gay Autistic Trans Woman". ANYWAY they're planning to have a protest outside the BBC on the 8th of January:

Meanwhile there was
already a protest outside the BBC a few weeks ago, coordinated by a group called "What The Trans?" but ultimately organised by one Natacha Kennedy:

Natacha Kennedy (aka Mark Hellen) has priors, having been exposed making a Facebook group to compile a list of gender critical or gender ambivalent academics whilst a lecturer at Goldsmith's University (it even got in
The Times!)
Meanwhile there's also the organisers of London Trans Pride, which is again it's own thing. Meet Lucia Blayke.

Lucia also runs Harpies, which is the only inclusive strip club centering queer and trans bodies (read: some strip joints let 'em put on a tranny night).
Anyway my point is that right now there are
tonnes of competing trans rights organisations - I'm just looking at ones that have been active in Central London in the last year or so, and there are loads of trans people competing to get to the position of "trans spokesperson". Transgender Action Block has barely cut its teeth so it's unsurprising it isn't getting traction (and separately it's unsurprising that Ollie isn't getting traction as the most famous trans person on TERF Island, because he isn't).
XTREME POWERLEVEL: I once spent a thoroughly unpleasant evening at a dinner party with one of these people. They were worse than you'd assume. Not in a perverted way, just in a "able to completely drain all the joy out of anyone's conversation" way.
