I think alice might be right in this case.

It sucks but at the same time she probably did get some traffic headed her way. Sometimes a bad thing can come off as a good thing. Look at Kyoutto when she got a ton of hate for her loli avatar as she was about to debut and the shitshow led to her getting about 4-5 times the number of follows/viewers.
