Wuhan Coronavirus: Megathread - Got too big

Does anybody actually know anyone who had serious long-term side effects from the virus? I mean, if you're on a vent, side effects makes sense - but for your average joe... Mom and I were both pretty sick for two weeks, coughed for a month, and have been fine ever since. Dad's about 200lbs overweight and his case was milder and on par with the yearly flu.
Two of the people at work who got it had to quit about a month after they recovered because they were still so fatigued that they couldn't take more than a few hours on their feet. One was a deathfat in his 20s, the other was a fairly petite woman in her 20s. Don't know how they're doing now, but they never came back to work. This was in November/December 2020.

Father Bunny who is heavy a man and 70+ got the coof and it was bad flu for him. Nothing of note worthy after he recovered still basically walks everywhere.

I dunno why this thread is suddenly devolving into anecdotal coofers association almost 2 years in (pretty well past the point of anecdotes being useful to establish an empirical baseline), but I just wanna say that any case blaming "fatigue" or other generalized, inherently subjective ills might as well be discarded immediately.

"I'm tired" without any medical indicators or additional physiological symptoms (fever, swelling, cough, liquid shits) doesn't even qualify for the "he said" part of "he said she said". It's virtually meaningless and probably just indicates that the person is (spiritually) fat. You can't even measure "tired". Did these individuals take a grip strength test? You need an entire background on the person to even get an idea of whether the behavior change itself is significant, and even then you dunno if it's psychosomatic.

Sometimes I'm tired and fall asleep on the couch. Other times I feel burnt out and sit around all day instead of doing anything. It causes me to procrastinate at times. Does it signify anything? No, I'm just being lazy. If the FEMA trucks rolled up you bet your ass I'd high jump off the couch and do wind sprints to the nearest isolated mountain range.

For some reason I can`t reply to @Super-Chevy454 , but…

Japan warns of cardiac health risks of COVID vaccines

Most Japanese people are autistic rules-followers, data-checkers, and out-loud noticers. Because you can do that in a monoracial society that isn`t run by (((shapechangers))) pretending to be you or one that contains niggers who destroy shit without consequences.

Even where I work, it is not at all uncommon to hear out-loud noticing that would get you dogpiled, banned, and canceled in the west. “Blacks have ruined that city.” “That`s just a man in a dress!” *This COVID thing really isn`t that dangerous, is it?” “The actual data says….” They’ll play chameleon and agree to western derangements about diversity and faggots or whatever to do business with westen companies, but they know the real score.

Masks aren`t going away anytime soon, but people are over COVID. International flights are closed, but we’re drinking, partying, going to restaurants, and doing our end-of-year gatherings.

Just for the hell of it, I went and looked up the NTSB Preliminary Report. It’s interesting. As mentioned, de Vries had an Instrument Rating and Fischer was an Instructor. Both experienced pilots. And the 172S they were flying is a common version of a reliable airframe that’s been around for decades.

What sparks my curiosity is the fact that they were 18 minutes into their flight and were at an approximate altitude of 6400ft AGL when things went wrong. That’s enough altitude to be able to deal with a plethora of possible problems before getting so low that you crash. The typical fatal accident for a single engine civil aircraft happens at low altitude during takeoff, and lesser so during lining up for and then making your landing.

The report says the plane suddenly went into a constant left hand descending turn starting at 6400ft until termination of flight data. That’s fucking weird. Crashes of that sort do happen, usually when a solo pilot suffers from sudden cardiac arrest or other totally debilitating event such as a stroke. Solo pilot gets the big final switch turned off, slumps forward, and that type of crash from a higher altitude ensues. Mechanical failure can also be the cause of such a sudden descent from any altitude.

The report also said that the wreckage showed continuity of control cables, no obvious separation of control surfaces, and the prop was turning under power at impact. IOW, no immediate signs of mechanical failure. Also, the weather was clear and calm that day. It’ll be interesting to compare the final report, to the prelim.
The sudden cause of Death is going to be him firing two bullets into his skull with the wrong hand.

To be fair, while I didn't know either of these people extremely well, we often commiserated on our day-to-day tiredness and the people in question had perfect attendance and were willing to work any hour of the day or night, so it was surprising to all of us that after recovering they still complained about extreme fatigue to the point that they would have to leave after a few hours of work.

Granted, maybe they were sick of working there and wanted an easy out, but they could have left long before they did if they wanted to use COVID as an excuse.

I don't know why your almonds are so activated by my post when @Mrs. Addams was asking if we knew anyone who had lasting side effects from the coof. I responded with the only people that I know of. I wasn't saying that is the conclusive evidence that LONG COVID IS REAL AND DEBILITATING!!! Go for a fucking walk or something.

I know one lady who works at cash register at my local grocery store. She had really bad coof and ended up in a hospital last year, but I don't think she was intubated. She is working now, but she said she was sick for couple of months. Other people I know or their relatives had 2 weeks of symptoms max.

My former boss was sick for a week after second dose of Pfizer (young, non-fat guy). My former colleague had also bad flu-like symptoms after second dose of Pfizer.

Another anecdotal data point: I am in a group chat in my current work, and in the past 2 months among entire vaxxed group of 40 people, 2 of them tested positive. I think it's a pretty high percentage, given that not all of them socialize that much. Some do, but I doubt it's a majority.

Ultimately it really depends on the severity of the illness; if you end up having to be hospitalized, there is a chance that a similarly serious case of pneumonia or some other viral respiratory illness could have also produced dire results.

Covid should be treated with a degree of seriousness (you want to keep your infection light), with ample prophylactics and treatment (i.e. pony paste, fluvoxamine, monoclonal antibodies).

It however, should not be treated like the bubonic plague, nor should 'prevention' entail jabbing everyone with non-sterilizing therapeutic gene therapy during a pandemic and then running around like headless chickens as the virus inevitably escapes.

And let's not get into the official hospital 'treatment' protocols...

Very smooth move.

Edit: switched links.
I find it funny that to shift the blame off of the vaccines that they are coercing and mandating people take they are willing to put some of the blame on lockdowns and fear mongering which is also something that is mandated and pushed onto people. In either case it's still the same group that's at fault.

Is there a climate change thread? I think the cat lockdowns are the first of the climate mandates. In Aussie they have locked down cats in several places, and in the UK they are talking about doing the same thing. Bizarrely other than birds they are also complaining that cats kill too many rodents... I thought that was the one "job" cats had in human society? They are also saying it's safer for cats to be locked inside.

Doesn't matter if it's a cat, child, adult, or elderly, apparently you will live your best life locked in a cage because if you go and enjoy yourself outside you might trip over a rock and break your neck and there is a not 0% chance that the common cold might kill you. I remember a couple of years ago it was seen as a good thing for children to play in the mud, now they have to be hosed down with chemicals to remove any bugs that might be on their clothes. Billy watch out, there might be a covid clinging to your sock.

They better be careful fucking around with cat people. Kids, the elderly, whatever, but as soon as you start coming for someone's cat there's going to be a bloodbath.

The article from American thinker references a yahoo japan news page and on this page (I was shocked) there are 3042 comments, and this article just came out yesterday, incredible. I don't think they police comments like they do on all the English sites. Funnily enough I couldn't get google translate to translate the whole page, it just kept auto redirecting me to the Japanese one. I tried translating through an archive of the page, no dice.

Comments to new information revealing even more heart inflammation risk related to the mRNA shots: https://news.yahoo.co.jp/articles/c737f540fd3ae5a6b170ceb80770c5e1906adb3f/comments

So I have been sitting here and manually translating the comments one by one, because the comments are to good to miss. I've made it to page 113, and people on the site are still rating the comments this far in. As I went deeper into the comments, it was more apparent which ones were popular, initially it was hard to notice because of the thousands of ratings. I can sense the sarcasm of some, even though they are just rough translated.

@Feline Supremacist what are your thoughts on the matter? Is this how WW3 starts?

Well he has that 20% chance of terminal cardiomyopathy to look forward to, won't show up in 3-5 years and everyone will have forgotten all about the coof jabs by then and, as he's finding out, you have no recourse to sue the vaccine makers or the government in the United States for being damaged by a vaccine.

At a minimum he should have demanded that his employer impose the vaccine requirement as a condition of employment on pain of termination and in writing. Also he should have demanded that they accept all liability for any adverse occurrence, which they'll of course refuse but you had best make the demand. I bet none of that happened. Instead a 'request' for vaccination status. A general announcement that the company will require proof of vaccination by a certain date with unknown specific repercussions (although everyone knows) written in language that provides plausible deniability of coercion.

Sucks to be a mudblood when shit goes south but again care factor is pretty fucking non-existent.

"What? This article says one thing, then it says something completely different." (paraphrased by me; this is an idiom I was unfamiliar with, and I had to get one of my kids to help me with it. The source of the bizarre translation is that Google translate doesn't do well with idioms).

"The inoculations have caused death and is even now causing illness, and is too insincere (too late) for those suffering from after-effects."

Well mine was very specific about termination, what info is needed, etc. I wouldn’t say most companies are simply ‘requesting’ vax status.

I'm really sad college football season is ending soon. Seeing stadiums stuffed to the rafters with tens of thousands of mask-less people just enjoying themselves and not having a care in the world was really awesome to see.
Though it's not on the same scale as college football, we've got Junior League Hockey starting up for the new season where I live. You'll not see any masks, but you're sure to see some blood on the plexiglass.
