And since I'm talking about the bunny's pipkin, so we now know that she dropped out of high school sometime in the 2010's to make it big on youtube. This dork is one day just gonna break down and start singing her social security number. Jokes aside, hearing her get emotional, lamenting about how much time she wasted pursuing meaningless and failed ventures, got me in the feels.
I think the big thing she needs to realize is even if you pursued something 'meaningless' or that you perceived as a failure as long as you learned something from it and you grew from it it has value. She would not be the creator she is today if she didn't do all the stuff she did before, whether it was dumb or not. And not to numberfag too much but even though she's 'only' at 17k subs that's still pretty damn good and frankly she pulls in more viewers than some of her genmates, it just so happens that her audience is the one most likely to use adblock and never disable it. There was an Uruka stream I was watching that never broke 100 viewers a week or so ago.
For me she needs to stop looking at it as filtering her audience and more as 'I'm going to do what I want to do that's best in my current situation'. When she mentioned wanting to collab with Zen and half of chat had an aneurysm is a good example: I personally don't watch or enjoy Zentraeya but I would watch a Pippa/Zen gecko stream. And her telling someone to essentially get fucked when they said they'd unsub if she did it is the right answer. I'm not a Vshoujo fan but I can see how this collab could benefit Pippa so I can be pragmatic about it. She should probably talk to Tenma or Muumi if she's nervous about asking people to collab, use your coworkers to your benefit, they're there to help you succeed (ideally).
Also about her thinking about wanting to do stuff at cons like a panel, my suggestion is to vet the people you have do that pretty thoroughly. Almost like a job application even if it isn't paid. I'd be willing to do it (even FOR FREE) but you have make sure you have people with some charisma and, well, regular bathing habits. I don't know how far this idea would go though, sounds like something Fishman would be involved in.
Give me some puzzle pieces, that was too long and I'm in pain still. Need to take a legit day off.
NFT transactions also involve minting, bidding, selling and transferring a digital token. All these actions are costly, adding up to an average of 369 kWh: over 10 times as much energy. One researcher calculated that a certain artist selling two pieces of artwork used over 175 MWh, creating the greenhouse gas emissions of 21 years of a U.S. household’s electricity use.
I knew it used a ton of energy but jesas this is borderline criminal for what seems to be (mostly) money laundering.
