Is it just me, or do search engines suck shit nowadays? I dunno, I remember back in the ye olden days of the late 2000's - early 2010's, you could search "free photoshop cs3" like you were drunk and still get results. I'm not even looking for pirated stuff, usually I'm trying to find archives or art references. And it only comes up with the most surface level shit. I know Google was censoring the fuck out of it's engine. But god damn.

I tried Yandex but it was kind of a pain getting Russian stuff half the time. I can't remember what I didn't like about DuckDuckGo. And I've been recommended Qwant but the French are cucks and they blacklisted the Farms.

I have also been curious for a long time how Search deals with the problem of popularity not leading to accuracy. Recently, I believe they've stopped trying. The more obscure the topic, the better the results. I don't know if this is because of SEO becoming a major industry or if there's a feedback loop.

Me again...can one of you fill me in on SIM-Card hacking, to recieve text messages intended for some other phone number? I heard this was a way to break 2-factor authentication if the code is sent in text message, is this something which is possible?

It's super easy to clone SIMs, no problem, takes a few seconds at most and it's a large security hole in my opinion in how carriers operate and how 2FA via phone is bullshit. First of all you need to install and configure Cygwin and I'll guide you from there.

I couldn’t get the front USB to work so I gave the cable a wiggle to see if it wasn’t connected right since that’s how I fixed my issue with the computer not turning on before because the 24 pin cable wasn’t quite in right. But I have a feeling I might have just bent several of the pins.

I suppose you could try making a bot, thought that would require an application for a dev account. I've also found scrubber.social which would allow mass deletion, but access to its tools costs $29 and $9 every month. Circleboom is supposed to be free, but I wouldn't trust it. CNet recommends TweetDelete, which is another paid application. So there's either a free way or an easy way.

Yeah it seems like you have to pay, no matter the website. From what I've seen it's Twitter that decided to change their API 2 or 3 years ago so it would limit the number of tweets that can be removed.

Null has recommended Kdenlive recently. Blender also has a video editing section to it.

It hurts to say it but give the Premiere Pro trial(or try it for free) a spin if you're a complete newbie. My reasoning for saying this is that there are more tutorials and "how do I..." posts with actual answers for Premiere than any other editor which makes it incredibly easy to find information even for the most basic questions only a 'tard would ask. The things you will learn and the way how things work in video editing are largely transferable so you can switch to any free alternative after that, Kdenlive, Lightworks, Shotcut, OpenShot, Davinci Resolve and whatever else is out there.

I tried a quick video on the built-in Windows 10 video editor and had some fun. I then watched null's video on kdenlive and noticed some features that I would have liked for my previous project (like the sound wave...thing. And the timeline...ribbon.)

I downloaded kdenlive and have been having more fun. Pretty simple to get started with, pull a video from any website and start clipping and rearranging. I recommend clipping Ethan Ralph shows. There's a lot of dead air to delete.

No re-encoding when cutting on timestamps(with the "copy" settings for video and audio), it's only limited by how fast your drive can read and write. It can do more than that but it can't do a lot more than that without much pain and suffering. Both hair and grass can be cut with scissors...

So, there was a package of really cool and bizarre screensavers called After Dark that was originally released in the early-90's by a company called Berkeley Systems. At first. After Dark was available exclusively for Macintosh, but eventually it was released for Windows. Unfortunately, the last and final edition of After Dark, 4.0 was released way back in 1998 for Windows NT for PC users and Barkley Systems is no more. I cannot seem to get it to work with Windows 10 no matter how many compatibility options I try, and running the After Dark executable makes Windows 10 bring up the monitor options window instead of running the program.

Has anybody gotten this to work on modern PCs without setting up a Virtual Machine? I am specifically after the Satori screensaver. I know that screensavers are obsolete, but After Dark is very nostalgic for me.

It can do more than that but it can't do a lot more than that without much pain and suffering. Both hair and grass can be cut with scissors...

It's easier to use obs to capture a live stream, go back a few seconds to what you want to clip on the live stream , start recording on OBS , Stop Recording at the end of your clip, File to REMUX recordings, then find clip and upload to farms.
