Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Chris Cuomo Claims CNN’s Jeff Zucker Knew About His Involvement With Andrew Cuomo Scandal

(archive)
Former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo said that the network’s executive, Jeff Zucker, was previously aware of Cuomo’s actions when he protected his brother, then-New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

Chris Cuomo and Zucker “were widely known to be extremely close and in regular contact, including about the details of Mr. Cuomo’s support for his brother,” said a spokesperson for Chris Cuomo.

The spokesperson told The Wall Street Journal on Sunday evening that “there were no secrets about this, as other individuals besides Mr. Cuomo can attest.”

Cuomo was fired on Saturday following the release of materials that suggested he was more involved than he had admitted in trying to help Andrew Cuomo amid sexual harassment allegations against the former governor earlier this year. The materials were released on Nov. 29 by New York’s attorney general, Letitia James, who previously alleged that the former governor harassed at least 11 women while he was in office.

Andrew Cuomo ultimately stepped down as governor earlier this year, but he has maintained that the allegations against him are false. The former governor now facing misdemeanor criminal charges after one of his accusers pressed charges against him.

On Sunday, CNN told WSJ that Chris Cuomo’s characterization of his relationship with Zucker and Cuomo’s other claims are incorrect.

“He has made a number of accusations that are patently false,” CNN said, without elaborating on what claims may have been false. “This reinforces why he was terminated for violating our standards and practices, as well as his lack of candor.”

The anchor was terminated on Saturday by CNN after the network discovered new information about Cuomo’s involvement with his brother’s defense as the former Democrat New York governor was facing misconduct allegations of his own.

Previously, Cuomo was suspended by CNN while allegations against him were being investigated.

Over the weekend, lawyer Debra Katz told The New York Times that an unnamed client told CNN that Chris Cuomo had acted inappropriately to her. Steven Goldberg, a spokesman for Cuomo, denied the allegations and characterized them as anonymously sourced.

“These apparently anonymous allegations are not true,” Goldberg said in response to Katz’s claims, adding that Cuomo “fully stands by his on-air statements about his connection to these issues, both professionally and in a profoundly personal way. If the goal in making these false and unvetted accusations was to see Mr. Cuomo punished by CNN, that may explain his unwarranted termination.”

Katz had told the paper her client was “disgusted by Chris Cuomo’s on-air statements in response to the allegations made against his brother, Gov. Andrew Cuomo” when Chris Cuomo addressed the then-governor’s scandal in March.

In May, during a CNN town hall, Zucker conceded Cuomo “made a mistake” by helping his older brother and added he would not punish Cuomo because it would be tantamount to “punishment for the sake of punishing.”

The Epoch Times has contacted Cuomo and CNN for comment.

Fired CNN host Chris Cuomo is set to sue the network if it balks at paying him at least $18 million to cover what’s left on his contract, sources told The Post on Monday.

Cuomo, 51, has hired lawyers and is preparing to file the lawsuit over the remainder of the four-year contract he signed last year — after a bitter back-and-forth about what the network knew of his secret efforts to aid his embattled brother, then-Gov. Andrew Cuomo, said sources familiar with the matter.

His contract was reportedly worth $6 million annually, leaving between $18 million and $20 million that he would be owed, sources said, adding that Chris Cuomo would also likely seek damages.

But CNN has “no intention of paying [Chris] Cuomo a penny,” an insider said.

“If he gets a settlement, there would be uproar,” the source added.

Another source said, “CNN has a standard morality clause in their contract that says if the employee does anything of disrepute, they can be immediately fired.”

According to several sources, Chris Cuomo is prepared to sue CNN if they do not honor the remaining four years of his $6 million dollar contract with the company.
According to several sources, Chris Cuomo is prepared to sue CNN if it does not honor the remaining four years of his $6 million-a-year contract with the company.

Chris Cuomo was canned Saturday, four days after being suspended over information contained in a trove of documents released by state Attorney General Letitia James from her investigation into the sexual harassment allegations that forced Andrew Cuomo to resign in August.

Lawyers from the white-shoe firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore told CNN that the documents gave the network legal grounds to fire the “Cuomo Prime Time” star for contacting “sources” about planned news reports regarding his brother, as well as trying to dig up dirt on at least one of Andrew’s accusers, sources said.

The lawyers’ stance even came ahead of a planned internal CNN probe into an unspecified sexual misconduct allegation against Chris Cuomo that the network received last week and which dates to his time working for ABC News, sources said.

Chris Cuomo’s spokesman has insisted, “These apparently anonymous allegations are not true.”

On Sunday, a spokesman for Chris Cuomo told the Wall Street Journal that CNN President Jeff Zucker knew “about the details of Mr. Cuomo’s support for his brother,” adding, “There were no secrets about this, as other individuals besides Mr. Cuomo can attest.”

In response, CNN blasted its former 9 p.m. weekday host, saying, “He has made a number of accusations that are patently false.”

“This reinforces why he was terminated for violating our standards and practices, as well as his lack of candor,” the network added.

A CNN insider on Monday also called Cuomo’s claims “absurd” and “patently untrue.”

I'll be honest, I was extremely skeptical of hybrids at first, mostly thanks to how absolutely faggy the Leaf, Prius, and their typical soy-scented drivers are, but they really do have a lot of advantages over a traditional pure ICE design, and not just fuel economy.
Hybrids are better now that manufacturers are a little more serious about them. When hybrids came out they were total clown cars. My neighbor got one of those Honda kammback things back in the day (damn I'm getting old) and it was gay as fuck. At least the Prius had a back seat, the Honda was worse than your average Corvette for space. The EV-1 (babby's GM's first ever production hybrid) at least had a trunk, but as I recall it had an 8 second 0-60 and to add insult to injury was computer limited to 80mph.

They're still not as serious as they could be, but at least they make normal compact hybrids now like the Civic. I would like to see some midrange releases utilizing a turbocharged small displacement engine with decent output, with an upgraded chassis (maybe RWD or AWD) so the car has some character. They make hybrid race cars now, so there's no real reason they can't make sporty/lux hybrids, they're just shit scared of having it lose money.

People really underestimate the power of electric drivetrains. Most freight trains are actually ran by both a diesel engine and electric motors, though it's actually far too complicated to call them hybrids. But that's just my train autism revealing itself, enough of that.
Anything that needs immense torque has an ICE-electric drive like that. Icebreaking ships, for example. There's also a lot of advantages to that specific setup, which is why the Lexington-class battlecruisers (and later on the Lexington-class carriers that we converted them into) as well as the final two classes of Standard Battleships (Tennessee and Colorado) had turbo-electric drives (steam turbines generating electric power that's fed to electric motors at the aft) to reduce weight and increase survivability. Power cables are lighter and easier to armor than driveshafts, after all. But I'll spare you and the rest of the forum any more of my milshit autism.

Why does he sound like he has a mouth full of cotton?

I can’t believe his handlers let him say that.

Actually having RvW overturn would be the best thing that can happen to Biden's Presidency

If abortion is kicked back to the states to determine if it's legal or not? Then the Democrats will have the necessary event to revitalize/reenergy the base and local/state branches in 2022 to a degree, that the GOP advantages in 2022 will be erased ENTIRELY.

2022 will no longer be a slam dunk for the GOP, a referrendum on Biden and bringing necessary checks to his reign of terror. It will be 100% about "protecting abortion rights" and the DNC, flush with donations after RvW is overturned, will be able to launch a full 50 state onslaught to take control over ALL the states in the US purely on the basis that "to protect abortion rights, we must control the state level governments of every 50 states". Which in turn will feed into the Congressional races, allowing the Democrats not only to preserve their majority in Congress but also potentially gain a super-majority too and permanent control over the state governments off of the DNC arguing the fear mongering prospect that ANY vote that isn't for a Democrat, is a vote to make abortion a crime under the notion that if the Republicans ever take back a state government, then their first priority would be to make abortion illegal.

Where will the money for the donations come from? They haven’t given any return on the investment that got Trump out. It would energize the base, yes, but the money to move and control that energy would be the death of their usual donors if it was ever spent.

Why in God's name would you ever assume SCOTUS would take up the case, much less rule in your favor?
Never mind SCOTUS. If the Left had Hawaiian Judge during the Trump years, the right now has Texas Judge. And boy, the DoJ better hope they don't get one. But good luck with that since they're filing in Texas's district.

It unironically shows how dogshit the bench in Georgia is if this guys is arguably the best choice.

Kemp is a cuck that pissed off the base and will not turn them out. His approval is floated by Democrats that would answer a survey on how greatful they are about giving Georgia and the Senate to Biden, and wouldn't be caught dead voting for him at any capacity.

Vernon said some weird anti-white shit during his time as a Democrat making him a liability, despite his staunch loyalty? to Trump. He might've Charlie Crist'd himself.

Perdue is a half RINO with some ok policies, like stopping all legal immigration. He is also scum who got rich off insider trading. His messaging at the starting gate seems great. However, Kemp had ads about him needing to get a larger pickup to haul more illegals to ICE for deportation.

The takeaway here is that General Sherman was right.
I'm waiting for the nightmare scenario: Loeffler vs. Abrams.

Literally "die on your sword to stop Stacey v. ballot churning in blue counties."

Stats on the us gold reserves are dubious at best as IIRC they haven't allowed an independent audit of the gold reserves since the 80's. Theres also the fact that they still list gold as $45 an ounce on their balance sheets despite the fact that the cheapest ounce you'll find today is probably going for $1800, lots of fuckery afoot in the western pm markets, mostly to keep the price suppressed. The shenanagins with Gadafi don't lend any credence to gold reserve claims either, perhaps they just didn't want the fiat ponzi to end early, or maybe they knew they couldn't compete with a gold backed currency.

Likewise we have very little knowledge regarding the chinese gold reserves, some estimate their reserves to be upwards of 10,000 tonnes. From what I understand they've also started a strategic silver position.

The chinese on top of banning crypto have apparently been encouraging their population to buy gold, whether that be in jewelry or coins.

I'd rather see the bit from Silent War when the Inhumans just straight up massacre a bunch of limo riding liberal elites reenacted here. They used plants to bind the lefties in place then told them why they were being put to death, then crushed their bodies and necks until they were all dead and in some places, their necks crushed to the point of inducing decapitation.

This is a long tweet thread so I will put most of it behind the spoiler, but it looks like even more evidence of the glowies operating the stupid Patriot Khaki march this weekend.

It came dangerously close to literally doing so, ironically by the protesters they were cheering on. Then there was Don Lemming's #MeToo moment. And now this? CNN's getting dogged now. Not that I'm losing sleep over it, mind.
