There's a short documentary, The Hoff Twins, about two white dudes who grew up in Marin City (a black town in the bay area). It is very worth watching if you like trippy garbage and the collapse of the west.

That’s exactly what they are doing. It’s “cool” to have a pedigree with the heaviest amount of inbreeding to these people.

I'm not sure what a "grinch blood" dog is, but there's an instagram account baylinebullyz that breeds what they call "grinchie" bulldogs that look like they can barely stand up, let alone walk around.

This interview should give an idea of the kinds of people who breed these poor dogs. This guy spend ten years in jail and looks like he's sub-literate at best.

Grinch blood is a bloodline based off one specific dog, but what you linked is exactly what I’m talking about. The dogs literally can barely stand/walk. It’s fucked up.

And that is spot on the people who get into breeding dogs like this. If you go to any bully show/expo/get together most of the people there are like this guy.

I’ve seen those! with the weird square heads and small face! They are absolutely horrific! Rottweilers, the correct ones, are amazing dogs!

I can’t even imagine the breathing issues those “exotic” rotties have with those heads and the big bodies.

Think about it, find useful dogs for things like hunting, Shepard, or other useful activities. Breed them with a similar breed, and then breed them with the fucked up dogs. Just to double down have two half breeds and breed them in order to make sure at least the new bloodline won't be fucked.

Think about it, find useful dogs for things like hunting, Shepard, or other useful activities. Breed them with a similar breed, and then breed them with the fucked up dogs. Just to double down have two half breeds and breed them in order to make sure at least the new bloodline won't be fucked.

I’d just eliminate the fucked is dogs, it would probably take a few generations to eliminate those issues.

There have been some working dog breeders who started making “new” breeds of functional dogs. I came across “Bull Herders” on Instagram a few months ago, it’s supposed to be a multi purpose dog that can guard, hunt, herd, nose work, basically a do it all type dog. They mix shepherds with mollosser breeds (mastiffs, pit bulls, etc). Definitely not a breed for an average person but I thought it was interesting to see the work these breeders/owners do with them.

Jesus christ. Echoing everyone about how horrible this is. I'm not much of a dog person but it's bad enough with pitbulls overpopulating in some areas and now these medically retard creatures will flood shelters.

I agree with shelters being dishonest about dogs in an attempt to adopt them out. In a lot of states you can request the animals shelter notes which often includes police reports if mauling/biting was reported and day to day reports from shelter workers. It would be great if more people asked this of shelters before making a stupid adoption choice.

My grandparents got a shelter dog that was a labrador mix (i.e shitbull with a long tail) when I was a kid. He was advertised as playful and great with kids. His favorite game was jumping over the baby gates to keep him from the living room and gnaw on whoever happened to be the smallest person in the room. This was encouraged because it was funny and a year later he was back in the shelter because they got bored of him and he actually bit someone bad and didn't let go.

A lot of people I've encountered have a revolving door of pets and treat them as necessary accessories to have to function in society without researching an animal that fits their lifestyle. These types often don't train or fix these because they're "animal lovers". I think this is a common sentiment here, not always resulting in abuse or allowing bad behavior but making poor choices for the animal you get. They think having their toad/pug/husky will fit whatever image they are trying to project and bonus, it's flauntable. They show their affection for the animal and it passes them as being good animal owners to like minded people. I think most people outside of the toadbully circles will think they're unethical, but turn a blind eye to pitbulls/overbred purebreds/etc. just because they're cute or it's in style to love pitbulls.

On the bright side thanks to the kiwis dropping a lot of informative things; it's been really interesting and refreshing between science fair bullies.
