As far the SCP goes I don't even know why people still bother with that fucking cancerous place.
It's been going downhill since Series 2, it's long since been bereft of any imagination or talent and turned into self masturbatory pseudo intellectual sperg fests for the hacks there to stroke their shrivelled dicks over.
They don't even stick to the formula of the SCP article anymore most of the time, which was a clinical document that described an anomaly and the methods of containing it, now the majority of articles rush through the actual SCP to get to their over bloated Logs, or abandon it all together and turn into indulgent meta drivel like 3999, and without the SCP formula, its just creepypasta by writers that aren't good enough to make it a career.
I saw a quote once "there's a reason professional authors look down on creepypasta" and it's harsh but pretty accurate.
The SCP used to be something special and unique when it was doing what it was conceived for. Now its just hack niggers like Kaktus stroking their own ego.

The wiki recently removed some of the dropdown tabs on the navigation bar. Making it harder to find resources such as the GOI dossier and other things people enjoy reading. They even removed the dropdown bar for navigating your way to the SCP list's. You can still find some of the stuff these contain on the side bar. But I would imagine it would make casual viewers frustrated.

It's good to know I'm not the only one tired of the 50+ page Novel SCPs desperately trying to outdo the previous one with complex narrative verbal diarrhea. The entire point of the site is to write short government style documents about weird shit. What government document takes 30 minutes to explain a shitty 4th wall break or the meaning of life?

Both of those suck shit. The former is inconsistently characterized and comes off as a formless funnyman blob with the only unique property of having the special camera with the butterflies, and the latter is just edgy and kills people for the sake of it
If you wanna complain about nu-SCP complain about how we don't get characters as thought out and well written like Dr. Scranton in SCP-3001 anymore

I usually prefer to separate the SCPs themselves from the shithole that is the wiki and said wiki's community. Only way I can even tolerate it, and even then I usually stick with the classics and ignore the newer stuff.
I think one of the things that stunted SCP was that the writers got too ambitious. The short snippets of Series 1 were done so much that there wasn't much else they could do with that simple formula. If they wanted to grow, they didn't have much of a choice but to make them bigger. And bigger... And bigger.... up until it turned into a giant 1-up fest.
When you make something THAT complicated, if you don't do it right, it just kills the magic that made it special in the first place. Now SCP is just another overmilked horror series out of many. The mainstream really does taint everything it touches.

Even the SCPs themselves have been tainted by this shit. There's an SCP that's basically just Donald Trump because ORANGE MAN BAD. They also started really shoving in faggotry and tranny stuff into the entries for no reason. Apparently the cold and mostly apathetic Foundation is very much into trans rights.

Oh, I agree with you there. What I'm criticizing is the hypocrisy of them shitting on edgy bullshit like Able and then turning around and writing a novella about a team of cyborg power-rangers.
I don't know if you're aware, but Kaktus is a big proponent of shitting on all things 1st series, yet SAMSARA is far more ridiculous than Able ever was.
