I've noticed for a while now about Irys using a filter especially during her talking segments at the end of her stream but seeing the stark difference between Sora's stream on Sora's channel and "A Way Out" with Kronii, I'm pretty sure she uses a lighter filter to counter how dark her original model is and how white Kronii's face is, her blush is completely gone. This ties back into Hololive software using chat rooms for collabs when Haachama guessed Marine's password to enter her's and scaring Aqua and Marine. I'm guessing the filter is tied to the software/chat room instead of the filter being tied to a specific model. I'm surprised Irys hasn't asked for a touch up on her model instead of using filters. Nothing against Irys, just something interesting I noticed. I honestly think she could get away with a cardboard cutout of a model and still do well with her personality and talent.
It's also very noticeable in this collab with Bae from a while back:

Okay, I didn't know about this until now, so here goes:
Gwelu is gunning for 1 mil subs, and has been doing a challenge stream for a while (either he gets 1 mil or his PC dies first. He has been streaming nonstop for while now)

Now one of his projects to reach this goal is by playing games with fans, so Gwelu and Tamaki wanted to play a Mafia/Werewolf game with their fans.

Unfortunately, the game requires voice chat and Niji rules state they can't play with non-livers/Vtubers/Youtubers with VC on (to protect them from potential yabs)
Gwelu and Tamaki attempt to circumvent this by having a 24 hour delay on the release of the VOD to give management a chance to check. This was approved
Now, in these types of games, names are randomized and you're not supposed to know the identity of the players (one player is supposed to be the killer and another is supposed to be a police officer, and others are random bystanders, etc. Part of the fun is not knowing who is who)

During the course of the game, one player managed to recognize Tamaki's voice, and fanboy'd about being able to play with his oshi. Niji caught wind of this an privated the whole video.

Gwelu and Tamaki got pissed because they thought it was a stupid rule. So they cooked up a brilliant idea - they released a video trying to convince the people who played with them to become Vtubers so that they can get their VOD back, citing how Kuzuha was able to play with 2 fans (who where small time Vtubers) with VC on.

Kuzuha fans saw this as Gwelu and Tamaki basically trying to say that Niji management has double standards and that Gwelu asserted that they are willing to bend the rules for Kuzuha but not for others. Shitstorm happened, and this new video also got privated and Gwelu has since stated that his project of playing with fans is now cancelled

Im still constantly amazed at KF for adopting Abi, Literally one of the sweetest beans in all of Vtubing, Shes literally a christian goody two shoes, you guys tend to REALLY like the racist and/or autistic crack babies. But I'm glad y'all dig her.
Because she's a good person, what is there to hate about her? She doesn't make a nuisance of herself, sure she can't sing, but you can't point to anything and say she's annoying, eccentric or terrible. KF is not an internet hate machine like 4chan, just a site where people like to follow and document terrible, eccentric people that lack the shame to hide such.

Abi's a good girl, being around her though makes me feel guilty and reflect on moments my faith failed, that coupled with schedules means I can't watch her as much as I'd like. Scheduling keeps me from watching Pippa some days.

Okay, I didn't know about this until now, so here goes:

Poor Gwelu, constantly the man fucked over, yet always the man winning at life. Edit: Niji's biggest enemy is the fans of their various talents, which is funny.

So now Kson is Yagoo's QAnon? Holy shit, these niggas crazy lol!
Made me think of a dumb rrat I was concocting a while back I decided not to post when I was halfway through because the logic was dumb, around the time kson was having a collab with Mel and Choco's roommates.

Idea is; kson is still with Cover, but due to the plan they're enacting she had to drop use of the Coco identity since it couldn't be accomplished by an active holomem with a 'private' identity. So she dropped the character and went back to kson, a move which a ton of people followed including some antis, and she used the new ownership of her own identity and content to assblast people trying to fuck with her on a more personal level to get around the kind of time it might take for corporate lawyers to assemble against the myriad of spergs trying to dox/harass their multiple talents. The gambit is for kson to pull in the various roommates of her former co-workers to officiate their real life personae more as proper IP content they can leverage to bait and destroy doxfags by getting more eyes on them in general, so their private identity is less of a secret but also easier for them to defend with litigation quicker.

Rewriting it, it again sounds absolutely retarded almost immediately but I'm still amused by the idea.

Anaesthetic-high autotuned ADHD owl was a new level of cursed and I loved it.

I don't think she's actually autistic or probably even has ADHD. Mumei's maybe an airhead but vtubers have to split their attention between OBS, chat, whatever they're streaming, and whatever software they use for their model. Some likely deal with that sort of multi-tasking better than others. Plus, it's hard to tell how much of her absent-mindedness is played up for entertainment.

Mumei's also mentioned taking classes, so you could probably add a dose of exhaustion into the mix. Speaking of classes, that she's going to college and isn't putting all her eggs into the streamer basket makes me think she's more intelligent than she lets on.
Back in the sports festival, Mumei didn't have a spot in the final relay race because, in her words, "I was not supposed to be here this long." For sleep? The other ENs just sucked it up. For other commitments? She continued hanging around and cheering the others on anyway. I'll admit I don't know if anyone else left early, and saying "I have to sleep early because I have an exam/assignment/whatever" followed by not sleeping is very on-brand for a college student. The point is she does get considerations which go beyond her colleagues playing with "dum owl, must protecc" kayfabe. Whether that's because of ADHD +/- autism, college work, or something else is where the rrats are made.

Didn't someone say Ollie was in college? Their on-stream energies are nothing alike.

Mumei is pretty sharp when she has to be.

Superchat: I'm sorry I haven't had time to watch your streams.
Mumei (with autotune): What? You can do whatever you want with your time. You don't have to give me money. That's not how this works.

If you wanna know which Nijisanji liver you are I guess

This reads like some B-tier "The idol we deserve but not the one we need right now" shit.

Update on Delutaya:

Recently, a thread(archive) on /vt/ shows Delutaya has posted a Fanbox message stating the following:
  • Delutaya has announced that she'll be going into definite hiatus and thus no streams from her main youtube account or on the twitcast.
  • She'll be focused on recovering from bipolar disorder (she states that she has had bipolar disorder since middle school).
  • She will also not be using the Fanbox and the Fanbox exclusive Twitter as frequently, and will not display the URL to that Fanbox for a while.
  • She'll occasionally use the side channel to stream if she's in the mood.
  • She'll still be visiting the fan server randomly.
  • She will also be offering refunds to her Fanbox supporters upon request.
  • Despite her being on hiatus, she'll continue working on her album, creating videos, and as stated before interacting with her fans.

I'm having doubts about her being Bipolar since she said she's autistic, but at this point even if it's true, there is no hope for this menhera...

The girl had been doing fine streaming with static PNG > gif > Live2D for almost a decade because her personality is that interesting that keeps people in. Plus, as Asian, she probably prefers lighter skin tone vs dark skin tone heck her current avatar for Twitter literally has a lighter skin tone. She probably surprised to see her character has darker skin tone vs the MV they make for her song.
Imagine there's will be "diversity" meltdown if Sana used a filter to look lighter skin as well.

Update on Delutaya:
No, I would believe the BiPolar disorder more than the autism, but the two are far from mutually exclusive. My uncle has Bi-Polar disorder and that shit is debilitating. He's not some useless lout either; man is pretty smart and in phenomenal shape in his late 50s. Problem is, these people spiral between manic and depressive moods at varying times if medications and proper management aren't being sought. Not only that, but those moods are nothing like what most people experience in manic or depressive states as there is usually no triggering episode or impetus. . . just chemical fuckery. Couple that with Japan where medication=drug-abuse. . . it has to be rough.

Im still constantly amazed at KF for adopting Abi, Literally one of the sweetest beans in all of Vtubing, Shes literally a christian goody two shoes, you guys tend to REALLY like the racist and/or autistic crack babies. But I'm glad y'all dig her.
In defense of the thread, autistic Vshojo hateboner aside (imagine actually defending Nux, jesus christ how embarrassing), most people here tend to appreciate Vtubers who really stick their necks out in some way. I wouldn't exactly say Abi is some kind of brave rebel going against the culture, and I wouldn't quite be willing to claim Vtuber culture is anti-Christian (hell, most of Vshojo come from nominally Christian homes), but being out there in a scene where it feels like the expectation is to pander to UwU kawaii or coomerbaiting, and holding BIBLE STUDIES, while still having an authentic love for the medium and even making friends (Kitanya and her circle come to mind) and participating in big collabs is genuinely praiseworthy, no pun intended.

This isn't coming from some kind of prude bible-clutcher either; I'm an extreme metal loving wrongthinker who probably watches more lewdtubers than everyone else in this thread combined; I'm not opposed to sexual, profane, or any other kind of content either, but I respect consistency. I'm not saying she's not cute either; I find her downright adorable myself, but it feels honest in a way you simply don't get from other "cute" streamers when they whip around with some flavor of "tee hee oh no I flashed my model's panties don't sexualize me you naughty boys". Meanwhile Abi will pop up in my notifications and she'll be playing Doom or Alien Isolation or some other horror/gore-laden game for hours on end and not slip out of her presented "Christian but not judgmental or controlling" persona even once.

TL;DR: Abi is either the best actress to ever live or she's authentic, and we like authenticity around these parts.

Speaking of the holidays, I wish y'all were here in Japan because December is basically the Japanese equivalent of Valentine's Day over here.
People go to KFC and eat chicken and have one night stands right before Christmas.
Girls will practically throw themselves at guys just so they can say they can brag that they had a special memory to their friends.
Which is why I've been pretty busy as of late.
It's wild over here right now
Halloween is also going to be another new "Hookup Event" in Japan, what's with the partying, costumes, nampa/picking up girls, and general insanity of Japanese people loosing up their pent-up stress and frustation
Edit: Ayame isn't the only holomem to take unannounced breaks and hiatus anyway. Haachama has taken months long breaks for the same reasons and I don't see anyone pointing their fingers at her.
Lots of people have been talking that Haachama is going to graduate soon, what's with the strees of the Taiwan Incident, returning to Japan, college, and management and Youtube tard wrangling her
Surprised no one has said it but Gura is having a previously unannounced members only karaoke right now.

Before she started singing though she was talking about their new outfits that have been announced. She was saying that they had a lot more input to it this time, thus implying that they really didn't with their previous ones, or at least she didn't. She nearly said something along the lines of that she really likes it "this time" but quickly changed to just that she really likes "this outfit", again kind of implying she really doesn't like her second outfit. Guess that's why she very rarely uses it and usually sticks with her hoodie.

Also she has said she has asked for a sailor outfit/seifuku, but so far has been denied. Sounds like she is really into it and thinks it would be cute not just for her, but if they did a school uniform for everyone! She wants the whole thing - short skirt, button up shirt, long socks., etc. All I can say is... cultured sharkie! I can only hope for a Gura with ZR.
Interesting that she said the talents have a lot of inputs this time. I wonder if this is a new thing company-wide or just a HoloEN/Myth thing
I'm sorry, I thought this is Kiwifarms
I remember Kson complaining that a Large pizza in Japan is just a small in the US as well.

So does that mean that a Japanese medium is a American kids meal?
Its less that Japan has a smaller portion, and more that US has a larger portion than the rest of the world
It makes me think, do KSon knows about the VShoujo drama? The timing, after the collab with Melody, can't be just a coincidence
In other news apparently Sony did a Apex tournament where several vtubers and streamers participated Towa was a guest, Sony also throwed their Chubas for good measure even when they barely have been out for 2 weeks

They also finally got their Cubegame server

They are not exploding in numbers but there is certain something about verse that make me keep a eye on them
I usually tune in to one of their streams. They really have nice voice and personality I really hope they gets bigger. Is this what a fan of smaller/indie VTuber feel whenever they watch their oshi's streams?
I think I saw one of them get driveby shitposted by the "hello I am american kimota oji-san" guy that's been making the rounds lately.
I'm sorry, which one again?

I've just been wondering about if we will see a drama coming from the other side of the ocean, but this is hilarious. Turns out the Niji culture of only sticking to oneself is going to bite them in the ass. It reminds me with the Roa incident as well, the behaviour was the same
This was a drama that got known overseas because someone translated. Imagine the amount of those we don't know because of the language barrier
By the way, considering that IRyS should have get a new costume or design right about this time makes me wonder if she really is going to ask for a lighter avatar. God, I hope the retards on Twitter won't call her racist for that
