Why does he say he really likes shit like Lost Judgement and enjoys playing them when you and the viewers are clearly bored out of their fucking mind watching you do side missions? By his own admission when doing them that they never end and its something of a hill to get over.

You can see the lightbulb light up in his head now because Metroid Dread got funded by whales each time he played it, that means he can now play all the older titles to milk as much as he can. But probably doesn't realize that just because Metroid Dread gets massive whale support, doesn't mean the others will, too.

Why is he bald? That's very odd, and if I didn't know better, I would suspect an incoming change in Phil's behavior, but I do very much know better. Did he just not look at it before putting it up? We know his tards do his artworks, so...

Why does he think he is beating Dread? What is stopping him from 100% it like every other Nintendie title? The game outright tells you "Hey this is the final boss fight way up top so fuck around before that".

Edit: Since when has he ever beat a game this quick? I mean the game is short but he's on stream 4 of it, and since he's a dogshit stalling streamer, it would take him a lot longer than 12 hours(estimated average to beat). How is he already so confident he's concluding it?

2D metroid games don't tend to be very long. I got to the final boss in just over 3 hours on hard mode.

I dunno why he thinks he'll finish the game this stream..from the last video (Part 9 which was uploaded before part he was on his way to getting the Gravity suit..he's probably at 60% through. He'll likely get to the final boss right at he end of stream and bait the fight for more money.

oh and a minor gripe I mean I'm not a professional gamer or any sort of king of retro, but mega man didn't wear a helmet on the title screen of mega man 2 which this new overlay is referencing.

But again, why spray paint font? did you spray paint the stars? the air? the sky?

Edit - wait I didn't see ryu there DDM logo was over it.

It annoys me more than it should this thing of Phil's where he acts like he's such a retro gaming guy, when any time he touches anything lacking the hand-holding bullshit of modern games, he gets his shit wrecked WAY more than a guy his age with his experience should be.

Not to mention his complete lack of appreciation for 16-bit classics like Super Metroid. You don't have to worship that game, but if you call yourself the "King of Retro", you better act like you get it, or stop with the charade. And don't even get me started on the fact that he dropped SOTN back in the day...

I did not know that, on account of having checked out after Halo 2. Now I'm even more curious as to why he went for an accurate depiction, given his obvious hatred for being seen as bald himself.

I disagree with him. As a man (white male, he/him) who read those articles in printed form,mainly gaymen magazines, the reviews were always rushed and not even skimmed through the main features of the game.
Phil also contradicts nigself with his statement about those media dying.
Let's see. Companies started promoting their games via streamers, a more apparent and immediate way of presenting their games to the audience, without the obscurence from some jewrno fagget.
