Thanks for reminding me of Kim Petras existence. When I first heard of him I watched some of his interviews and thought that something about his behavior is off: his mannerisms, how he talks and generally interacts with his interviewers.
His psychologist said this about him (

I'd be very curious what you guys make of his body language when he is in interviews. He isn't a good dancer either, he seems fidgety and throws his arms around a lot, like someone with proprioception issues. Am I interpreting too much in it or does he seem a bit socially retarded to you too? Did the docs look over a preexisting condition like autism again?

From the same article, which is a long and interesting read. For one, it's from 2007 and the state of transgender healthcare from then until now hasn't advanced. Dutch protocol, brain scans don't work (then wtf is different!?), most trans kids desist...
Then, there are the good intentions by physicians and their hot takes like "Today Meyenburg allows his young patients to start hormone treatment earlier, before puberty makes the longed-for sex change much more difficult: "They just have to suffer less."

Considering that we can totally tell and that puberty doesn't just make you grow gross hairs and pimples, but matures your brain and turns you from a child to an adult, I'd say that they still suffer, just different and maybe even more than before.
Kim or Tim himself is clubbing and drugging, posting this on his instagram:
