US Joe Biden News Megathread - The Other Biden Derangement Syndrome Thread (with a side order of Fauci Derangement Syndrome)

Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

With all this talk about Biden's approval, I'm remembering something Gehenna said back around the Afghanistan debacle: there is a correlation between Biden's approval dropping and belief in election fraud growing. And now I've seen it happen in real life. I've seen a few people turn on him and declare there's no way he's legitimate. People really hate those high prices.
Buckle in, Mr. Nielsen. The ride ain't over yet and we're expecting some mid-air turbulence along the route today. Please stay seated with your seat belt buckled until the Capt. turns off the buckle up sign and says you are free to move about the cabin.

And oh, don't forget to keep yer mask glued firmly to yer face.

Can't remember if I said it before, but it bears repeating:

You can lie to the normies all day long, but they cannot ignore the price at the pump, or the price of groceries.

And they're going to ask 'wait, why is gas three times as expensive as it was a couple years ago? why is my fucking grocery bill twice what it was?'.

Ironically, it's very much like Nielsen as Frank Drebin in the Naked Gun movie, trying to disperse a crowd while standing in front of the fucking fireworks factory that's going up.

'Nothing to see here, please disperse!' as everything is exploding.

Are they really just starting to believe that fraud happened? More likely they had doubts in the back of their mind but at the same time felt relieved that there wouldn't be any more mean tweets. Now that Joe's driving the country off a cliff the halo has worn off and they're remembering just how fishy the election was.

He used to be sharper honestly, the last few years he's really become a decrepit doddering old fool. He always had the reputation through the Obama years of being kind of an idiot which disappointed people who were expecting Paul Ryan to beat him around with FACTS and LOGIC in the VP debate. To be fair in hindsight, it was Paul Ryan I suppose.
its even worse because in those 1980s clips 4chan posted, he's extremely eloquent. he was like a fraiser brother, all the old people i know don't even talk about his politics anymore, just bringing him up reminds them of their own mortality.

This guy was always a charlatan, but now I think Cramer is going to show up in the Epstein and Maxwell black books.
i genuinely have to wonder how much money you would have made the past decade and a half if you just faded all his picks, in sportsbetting there's always these famous loudmouths who get lucky or fake a great record only to start charging for picks and immediately ending up wrong 90% of the time, the gambling gods despise the types of gamblers that make money selling picks rather than just showing off their betting slips. So i'd have to believe if you took that logic to the bad Cramer, you'd be up about 1000000%.

Yea! Something is a bit weird about them changing their mind on whether there was election fraud. Saying, "yea we all voted for him because we thought he wasn't this shit and regret it" makes sense, but " yea we all voted for him because we thought he wasn't this shit and therefore there was fraud" doesn't.

I'm inclined to go with Vaclav's assertion that pretty much anyone who paid attention to the 2020 election thought it stank, but many were just happy to put up with it.

edit: it's possible some of them might have actually participated in it and now there the milk has soured are starting to admit (to themselves) what happened.

The best part about Lefties turning on Biden and saying "He's not a real Dem, he's illegitimate" is you get to look them right in the eye and say, slowly and distinctly: "That's an alt-right conspiracy theory. Most. Secure. Election. Ever."

I'm usually not one for throwing something back in someone's face, but watching their faces when they realize that now THEY don't get to complain about election fraud to distance themselves from Hearse Ridin' Biden.

Like I said, Obama did the same thing. TBF to the both of them, Crimea and Ukraine are not NATO nations so it was never their business to begin with, but it does prove they aren't as powerful as people think.
When I said "shit his pants" I expected much the same situation as Afghanistan. Ignore it until the whole thing is FUBAR and then try to do something.

This is just "take this deal since I really can't deal with this right now."
At this point he might as well hand them all of Europe while he's at it.
Pretty much. Biden's brilliant idea is to give them half of what they want right off the bat and threaten them if they go any further. I'm pretty sure that is not how negotiations work.

Information in the present can change the past. They probably honestly believed Biden won legitimately at the time but for the reasons you stated now question that assertion.

There used to be a website called "Pundit Tracker" that actually did keep track of people's predictions. I sadly could not find it again or that it had changed so much as to be useless.

That's never how it works. They'll just call you names for deviating from the approved dialogue.

Pretty soon we're going to start to see some sort of measure to keep health statistics out of the public eye. They'll be marked for approved researchers only or something and finding actual figures on heart problems, miscarriages, etc. will become difficult for us outsiders.

But there'll be headlines aplenty summarising things for us - no source data, though. Only curated statistics.

I swear I heard one European nation is already doing that, but I cannot find it right now. They stopped reporting to "combat the spread of misinformation."

People believe by instinct. Never mind the 3 AM Ballot Fairies, and Benford's Law, and all the other shit that a fair few people don't know about or have difficulty following, and ask yourself this: is this administration acting like a duly elected democratic government, or like a high-handed, clueless colonial administration that treats the natives like shit ("for their own good," of course.)

It's not just one thing, either. I can't think of ANYTHING Biden and co have done to improve the lives of average Americans, even as an attempt. Every single move has made things measurably worse.

People have the morals they can afford. A suffering populace will embrace an illegitimate ruler if they get something from his rule. With Biden, we've gotten less than nothing.
