Whenever Ree happens to actually discuss video games, it's no better than their discussions about "politics".
Over this last week, I observed a fair number of embarrassing threads, specifically when it comes to prices. Forspoken is priced at 70 USD on Steam, and around 80€ in the countries that use the currency. Bearing in mind that US prices do not include taxes, while European prices do.
Forspoken vanilla is 80€ on Steam, 105€ for the Deluxe. I think this is the very first 80€ game on Steam and it's not good.

Square is trying to bring 80€/$70 games on PC with Forspoken & Final Fantasy VII: Intergrade
Lol "trying".
Squares not the first to "try" this, and it was always going to happen with next gen games.
Inflation is a real thing, and the reality is that we were still 10 dollars behind from matching the real value of 60 bucks in 2005 with 70 dollars in 2020, let alone this year's "transitory inflation" born out of the coof-lockdownerism that Retardera fully supports even now.
I have some amount of sympathy for people getting paid a couple hundred of euros a month (how's that EU working out for ya?), but I have to say that I'm not sure that you should be buying any games if you're like this guy.
I'm going to go ahead and assume that he's talking about his monthly salary. But even then, I question your money managing skills and/or how many games your buying that you can't treat yourself to the luxury (because that's what vidya is) to a full priced game on occasion.

Alex Battaglia is a class-A moron. Why shouldn't you be paying full price for a new, next-gen only game?
And again, it's as if no one realizes the tax differential in these prices.
Piracy is a service issue.
Anything to absolve yourself of the responsibility of not having the money for something you want, or just admitting that what you're doing is theft.
Excuse the boomer-ness here, but this smacks of consoomerist entitlement. This kind of mentality, combined with others displayed in threads like this are why we're headed for the "you will own nothing and like it" state of the world.
This is something that has bugged me going all the way to the original Xbox One. The machine is basically a paperweight without online connectivity. 1. You can't use a new system at all until you connect it to the internet and create an account. 2. You can't play a installed game at all if it...
