Early ClariS was the best and as I said my favorite JP group. When Alice left and they replaced her with Karen, it just felt different or maybe I had moved on, not sure which, but I don't enjoy their new songs as much. But I wish Alice had been around when they finally did face reveal. At this point it probably won't happen for them to have a reunion.

Tbh NijiEN is great if you are not the kind of fan that has a single oshi and just follows her streams, because the nepotism just works: the girls have great chemistry across every wave so you can check in a random collab with random members and the banter is always great.
Also they are mood is always more chill and laid back, maybe because they have lot less pressure on their shoulder than HoloEN with their numbers

I said it a year ago when I first started getting into this shit and I'll say it again now - with the amount of money these companies are making, it really would make sense to start considering their own video streaming services. There are white-label solutions for this stuff, so it's not unobtainable dark magic anymore if you have enough money to throw around and Hololive and Nijisanji have enough money. Using their own services would also mean they no longer have to pay Google their 30%, and that shit would add up quickly. (Think about it; when some whale drops a $100 akasupa, $30 - thirty dollars - goes immediately to everyone's favorite global tech company Alphabet, Inc. even before the agency takes their own 30% or whatever cut. If you're going to simp, especially at big dollar amounts, always use StreamLabs instead of superchats if it's an option; more money gets to your oshi and zero gets to Google.) They'd also be able to better control chat.

Twitch isn't a great solution for reasons others have mentioned above, and I agree that I hate their player - among other things it seems to be intentionally breaking the macOS pop-out PIP player mechanism somehow, which is really fucking annoying. For the JP branch maybe there's Niconico, but somehow I doubt they'd be any less draconic on copyright stuff than YouTube. I guess there's shit like DLive and Odysee if you want to start scraping the bottom of the barrel, but among the other advantages, launching their own service would come with less baggage.

I usually listen to her Karaoke streams at work and she has an amazing singing voice. The great thing about her karaoke streams is that she usually sings anywhere from 20 - 40 songs when compared to the usual 7 or 8 the other girls normally do.

I have noticed that her pronunciation is not as scuffed when singing, compared to when she speaks the language. When it comes to the whole "Idol" thing, she is easily in the top 10 of all Hololive. I mean she was in a girl group so I guess it makes sense for her to be good at it.

Twitch is better for discoverability. You can just go on there and find someone streaming a particular game or even use the 'vtuber' tag to find someone new. YouTube sucks in this aspect. This means Cover would not benifit from moving to Twitch since their talents are always promoted through the other talents and rarely have random viewers walking into their stream.

Twitch has the better live player and a better chat experience for both the viewer and streamer. Twitch streamers can always read chat no matter how fast it is and seems to have better moderation and better ways to track donations etc.

All that being said, Twitch is too 'new and modern' for a Japanese company and Cover or Niji will never go there until YouTube completely goes down.

That interface looks garbage. But beyond that, the top banner suggested me stuff based on my subscriptions and all of them are TWITCH vods reuploaded to YouTube. Then a selection of games beyond what I ususally watch.

Twitch has it's own problems sure, but Youtube gaming and facebook gaming will never be proper competitors until they seperate streaming from their main platform and not make a clusterfuck out of every service they offer.

My guess is that people imagined something way better with the talent "freed from the corpo chains" and it's just didn't deliver on those expectations. It most likely couldn't.

When I was younger I came across this person in discords sometimes, usernames were also Piety and Chara. It is a tranny American man from Michigan pretending to be a Russian woman (sometimes it makes the persona half Asian for more simps) and their life revolves around manipulating basement dwllers to hurt themselves and give it money. Nobody really knows if it really tortures animals or not.

That explains why Moona is so stunning and terrific at singing, no wonder she was at YTMW.. I appreciate how the Holo girls can make bad songs sound; like the Nicki songs. My favorites were Fuck You (because I have someone in my life this applies to a lot), Fireflies, Fly Me to The Moon, It's My Life, You Are Not Alone, and Safe and sound.

I need to listen to more non-EN girls sing English songs. This is the 2nd time in a row were I felt they were better than council (first was Chloe)
