Armchair psychoanalysis, but I think a lot of this is down to her health problems and lack of a job.

Disabled people can suffer from feelings of uselessness, and guilt that other people (friends, family, taxpayers) are giving things to them that they are unable to reciprocate. Most of them deal with these feelings by finding a way of giving back - if they can't hold down a job, they volunteer, or offer support and advice to others in a similar position, help out with family, or endeavour to find a way that they can work and be useful, which can sometimes take a long time to get their health in a position to do so and maybe re-train in a different career that will let them work from home, work flexibly, or whatever their illness leaves them needing.

I suspect Warthog is dealing with this. She clearly does have health problems, physical ones. Obviously I don't know for sure, but she does not follow any of the behaviour patterns of someone with serious mental health problems, her "depression" is probably just feeling useless, because she IS useless - then she uses these "mental health" issues as a reason to do even less, so it's a downward spiral of her guilt feeding her laziness/uselessness and vice versa. She loves attention and pity, and I am convinced that many of her mental health problems are made up or exaggerated, and some of her physical health problems are as well. Her feelings of guilt are probably exacerbated because 1 - many of her physical health problems are self-inflicted, or at the very least she doesn't have the self-discipline to mitigate them (her obesity has led to diabetes and probably makes all her other problems worse, but she eats junk food all the time) and 2 - she knows, deep down, that she is exaggerating/making up her issues and she can't quite silence her conscience about what a leech she is.

So, with the above in mind, she needs to feel useful in some way. She needs something to point out to herself when she feels guilty to say "actually, I *do* give something back, I *do* have a purpose, I *do* contribute to society". Unfortunately, what she has chosen is to dispense empty platitudes on Twitter, trying to fool herself into thinking that she is "supporting" Spoony by replying to all his tweets. Not only is this obviously not helping Spoony, or anyone else, but she's not even any good at it. Rather than advice, reassurance or encouragement (all of which Spoony either ignores or gets mad at, of course) she just makes everything about herself.

You see a lot of this in clicktivism, whereby lazy, often "disabled" zoomers think that by Tweeting "Orange Man Bad" or whatever they are somehow involved in making the world a better place, as opposed to just sending 0s and 1s into the void to no effect whatsoever. But WH is thirty fucking seven, and is old enough to remember a time before social media, and consequently knows, deep down, the difference between saying words on the internet and actually helping a person or a cause. But that fact just gets added to her increasingly large "facts I am in denial about" mental folder.

I have sympathy for people with disabilities, it's a tough break. Less so for people who inflict them, knowingly, on themselves, and even less so for those who play mind games with themselves to try to abandon all their responsibilities rather than try to have a better life. She has no excuse. She should know, and do, better than this, but she is lazy, entitled and enjoys wallowing in self-pity.

(Similarly, I think Spoony's incessant tweeting has a similar cause - it's so that he can mentally justify keeping his Patreon open to himself, thinking "I'm a Twitter comedian, that's my job" and the Patreon is a grateful world rewarding him for his hard work.)

tl : dr, She barrages Spoony with Tweets to try to convince herself she is "helping", and that this somehow offsets what a drain she is to everyone around her (much of which she could fix if she had an ounce of moral fibre), which of course she isn't and it doesn't.

If you’ve lost most of your friends due to your suicidal tendencies, you have three options: 1. Re-evaluate your life, seek out the changes you need to improve for the better, and try to reconnect. 2. Check into the funny farm. 3. Make sure you’re taking out the brain when you aim, or cut off breathing and circulation entirely when you log off Twitter for real.

I have a friend who allegedly has been suicidal since she was 5, and she’s legit nuts. But you don’t find her whining on Twitter or alienating her friends, it’s her bonkers condition that makes people distant, but most people have legitimate pity for her. And she can’t really help it, but she doesn’t go out of her way to be a burden to people. This depression bragging is infuriating. These people need to neck themselves or shut the fuck up

If you're a fatso and in your late 30s, theres a very good chance you'll get Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease. It's not the worst diagnosis ever, it's reversible in many cases and it's very common. If you're a booze hound you'll get the Alcoholic version, which will turn into Cirrhosis unless you're careful and, well, this is the Hog we're talking about.
